Harvey Carson. Attend Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Carl Barr and family of Diamond Springs, attended the wedding Saturday afternoon at 2:30 of their neice Miss Margaret Drummond, of Elmdale, to Mr. Robert Sharp, of Humbolt.

The ceremony took at the new country home of the brides parents Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Drummond.

Mrs. Sharp will continue to teach physical education in the Humbolt school next year, and Mr. Sharp is a carpenter with a construction company at Chanute. To Nebraska Mr. and Mrs.

Floyd Hogue drove to Wymore, Nebraska, yesterday, for their son Gary, who has spent the past week there visiting. Mrs. W. A. Hogue of Broken Bone, Neb.

It was decided to make a scrap. book of Scout things accmplished by the troop, and it was learned how to refill a Girl Scout first aid kit. Following the meeting an imag. inary trip to New York was started and other games were played.

Mrs. Harry Miller and Mrs. George Sandberg, leaders, were present as were the following members: Betty LaBrant, Barbara LaBrant, Janette Hageberg, Ellen Pilcher, Donna Johnson, Doris Miller, Ila Schild and Rosa Faye Balantan.

Brownie Scout Troop 7 The Brownie Scout Troop No. 7, met at the Girl Scout Cabin, for their regular weekly meeting Saturday afternoon. The troop has been divided into patrols, the Bears and the Bussy Bees. Each patrol is particularly interested in attendance record of its own group. Following the business meeting Bingo was played, by the following members: Shirley Ingmire, Janice Cleveland, Babette O'Malley, Patty Pickett, Glenne Skinner, Jill Hylton, Gloria Mcrris, Barbara and Mary Jane O'Meara, and the leaders, Mrs.

Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Unruh of Pratt, Kansas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Neva Jean, to Richard H.

Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Harris of Council Grove.

Miss Unruh is a graduate of the University of Kansas and for the last year has served as medical technician at the University of Kansas Medical center. Mr. Harris is a junior in the school of engineering, University of Kansas. Their marriage will take place August 22, at the First Presbyterian Church of Pratt. Family Reunion Mr.

Walter Alspaw were in the county seat on business and attended the Sanford sale on the way home. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Peterson and Judy attended the Sanford sale Friday afternoon. Edd Wigle has been quite ill but is improved at this writing.

Mrs. Emerson Lamb returned on Wednesday after a few days' visit with her brother in Missouri. W. D. Alspaw attended the terracing demonstration at the Metcalf farm.

The demonstration was put on by Mr. Norman of Wilsey. Mr. and Mrs. O.

W. Martin were shopping in Council Grove Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Boll and family of Wichita were week end guests of Mr.

and Mrs. George Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. O.

W. Martin returned home Wednesday after a week's visit with relatives and friends in Topeka and Atchison. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Alspaw were in Burdick on business Friday afternoon.

Celesta Parker of Wilsey is spending a few days with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Alspaw. Mr. Paul Robinson of Wilsey and Miss Ina Wigle of Walnut Grove district were married Sunday, June the 20th, in Salina.
