Drewel RACINE James L. Drewel, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2002. Funeral arrangements are being made.

Jensen, 75, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 12, 2002. A lifelong resident, he was born in Racine on February 11, 1927, to Joseph S.

and Irene (nee: Christensen) Jensen Sr. On September 24, 1949, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Christensen and celebrated 53 years of marriage. Joe farmed for many years and was employed by the Town of Mount Pleasant for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; three sons, Joseph (Nancy) Jensen, both of Racine, James (Ruth) Jensen of Ohio, and William (Kim) Jensen; a daughter, Patti Jensen, both of Racine; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willard Jensen; and a sister, Jeanette Jacobsen. Memorial services will be held at Franksville United Methodist Church, 10402 Northwestern Avenue, on Saturday, December 14, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kaye Glennon. In keeping with Joseph's wishes, cremation has taken place.

There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday prior to services from 1 until 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joseph's memory to the Franksville United Methodist Church Steeple Fund or to one's favorite charity have been suggested. On November 26, 1936, he was united to Rosetta Dyer, who preceded him in death March 18, 1998. Max was employed by Johnson Wax for 28 years, retiring in 1975 to Rogers, Ark. and then returning to Racine in 1997.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Diane Worcester of Racine; two granddaughters, Kelly (Scott) Reignier of Wrightstown and Kimberly (Charles) Jacobson of Racine; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Amelia Reignier; a brother, Kenneth Worcester of Pee Wee Valley, a sister, Alice (Walter) Davis of Wellington, Ohio; other relatives and friends. (nee: Barr) Thompson, 90, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2002, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Mrs. Thompson was born in McCundy, Miss. on April 14, 1912, to Milton and Lela (nee: Curtis) Barr and came to Racine in 1950.

She married Mr. Arzell Thomp- son in St. Louis, Mo. in 1940. Mrs.

Thompson was a member of Omega Christian Fellowship Church. Survivors include her husband, Arzell Thompson of Racine; four sons and daughters-in-law, James (Pat) Thompson of Milwaukee, Arzell (Van) Thompson Jr. of Atlanta, Milton (Peggy) Thompson of Racine, and Stanley Thompson of Cranston, R.I.; a daughter-in-law, Hedy Doss of Racine; 25 grandchildren; many greatgrandchildren; great-greatgrandchildren; and two sisters. Mrs. Thompson is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Linton Doss and Louis Doss; five brothers; and six sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 13, 2002, at 7 p.m. with Rev. Milton B.

CHARLES, ILL. William M. Erickson, 50, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Ill. He was born October 8, 1952, in Racine, the son of Ralph and Eleanor (nee: Martin) Erickson. Bill and his wife of 29 years, moved from Racine to St.

Charles, Ill. on August 4, 1984. He was employed as a Staff Engineer for Bosch Rexroth in Hoffman Estates and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Incorporated. Bill was a ham radio operator, call sign, WA9TPQ, and held an extra class license. He was past President of the Fox River Radio League and a life member of the American Radio Relay League, also a member of the Society of Midwest Contesters, FISTS, a group for the preservation of CW, and he held a radio telephone operator license, second class FCC.

His memberships included 1010 International Net and a member of City of Lights Chapter. Bill received various awards for his proficiency as a radio operator. Another passion for Bill was his love of camping as well as a member of the Over The Hill Gang bicyclist. Other interests include astronomy and photography. Bill is survived by his wife, Betty; his parents, Eleanor and Ralph Erickson of Aurora, and his parents in-law, Ken and Donna Beth of Racine.

A Memorial service will be held at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Avenue, St. Charles, on Friday, December 13, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. David Jamir officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m.

Robert was in farming all of his life. He served on the board of the Bohemian National Cemetery.
