Nordstrom CEDAR FALLS, IOWA The Rev. Dr. Paul A. Nordstrom, 47, died at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa on Wednesday, June 23, 2004, of cancer. He was born in Racine A on August 6, 1956, son of Gale and Lois (nee: Lindgren) Nordstrom.

He married Julie Loftsgard on June 2, 1979, in Park River, N.D. The Rev. Dr. Nordst graduated from Washington Park High School in Racine and he attended Golden Valley Junior College in Golden Valley, Concordia College in Moorhead, Luther Seminary in St. Paul, and Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif.

He was ordained as a Lutheran Pastor in 1983. He served Lutheran churches in Clarissa, Minn. and he began at Nazareth Lutheran in Cedar Falls, Iowa in 1991. He also served as Pastor in Lamont, Iowa and Dundee, Iowa and was presently serving as Pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evansdale, Iowa. Survivors include his wife; a son, Andrew (Brooke Trent) Nordstrom; two daughters, Kirsten (Ben Arnold) Nordstrom and Amy Nordstrom, all of Cedar Falls, Iowa; his mother of Racine; a brother, Roger (Rose) Nordstrom of Chicago, and a sister, Carol (Roger) Tonneman of Colorado Springs, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his father. Services were held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evansdale, Iowa on Saturday, June 26, 2004, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Erickson is recognized worldwide as the epitome of sound, style and technique.

His appearance is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Echo Park. Admission is free. Formerly tubist with the United States Navy Band in Washington D.C., where he served for 26 years, Erickson is now Lecturer of tuba and euphonium at Lawrence University, located in Appleton, where he performs with the Lawrence Brass. He has been the principal tubist with the Brass Band of Battle Creek for the past 11 years.

Amy E. Jensen RACINE Amy E. Jensen, 83, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2004, at St. Francis Flospital in Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held at the Hanson Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, 2004, at 6 p.m.

Bud' Milloy, 57, died in Harrogate Hospital in North Yorkshire, England on Monday, June 20, 2004, after a 15-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Kenosha on December 10, 1946, the son of Frederick 'Fritz' and Jean (nee: Doerflinger) Milloy. He was affectionately known as Bud.

On July 25, 1900, in England, he was united in marriage to the former Alice Grey Tatton Doerflinger. After graduating from St. Joseph's High School in 1965, he enrolled at the University of WisconsinMilwaukee, earning his degree in geography. Bud enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country for four years as an Intelligence Specialist. Shortly after returning home, he began working for Jupiter Transportation, where he stayed for many years.

For the past several years, he and his wife, Alice, took extended vacations to England. Bud is survived by his loving wife, Alice; his daughter, Christine (Steven) Carpenter of Janesville; his mother, Jean (LeRoy) Hansen of Kenosha; his sister, Carol (Fred) Welborn of Racine; and nephews, Michael and Mark Fornal, both of Racine. Bud is further survived by other relatives and friends. His father, Frederick 'Fritz' Milloy, preceded him in death. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St.

Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Avenue, Kenosha, on Friday, July 9, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Roman Stikel officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the Mass.

Mary's Medical Center on Saturday, June 26, 2004. He was born in Racine on December 13, 1914, to Jacob and Mamie (nee: Amund- Howard was a resident of Racine until his retirement 22 years ago, then moving to Florida. On September 4, 1938, he was united in marriage to Jane Mayhew. This year they would have celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary. He was Plant Manager for Hartmann Luggage, the Owner and Innkeeper of the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek, and retired as Director of Building Services with St.

Luke's Hospital. Howard was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Racine and All Souls Episcopal Church in North Fort Myers, Fla. Some of the activities Howard enjoyed were fishing, square dancing, crossword puzzles, road trips, and entertaining people around him with stories and lymrics. He is survived by his wife, Jane; one daughter and son-inlaw, Lisa (Jim) Tornoe of Racine; one son, Steve Christensen of Miami, two grandchildren, Robert Tornoe and Kristen (Nick) Basile; and six great-grandchildren, R.J., Ricky, Melanie, and Megan Tornoe and Vinnie and Domenic Basile.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Howard was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert; brother, Milo; and by his lifelong and best friend, Stanley Litrenta. A Memorial service will be held at the Hanson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1, 2004, at 6 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Terry McGugan.

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Emery B. (Alice) Holland and Melville (Anne) Holland; two brothers-in-law and a sister-inlaw, Gus (Jane) Petrakis and Donald K. Mortenson; also by a nephew, David Petrakis. There will be a Memorial service at the Hanson Funeral Horne on Friday, July 2, 2004, at 10 a.m.

Northwestern Avenue 632-4479 Ramona A. Meekma RACINE Ramona A. (nee: Maillet) Meekma, 45, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Ramona was born in Danville, Ill.

August 1, 1958, daughter of. Harry W. and Ann (nee: Schnabel) Maillet. Ramona was a graduate of Washington Park High School "Class of 1976." She was employed by Prudential Insurance for many years and most recently at Porter's of Racine. She loved music and was an active member at St.

Joseph Catholic Church, where she played piano and was a member of the Chime Choir. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Meekma of Schaumburg, her son, AnMeekma of Racine; stepdaughter, Kelly (John) Parkhill of Oak Creek; her father, Harry W. Maillet of Racine; her sister, Audrey Maillet of Racine; sisterin-law, Janine Meekma Foth of Stoughton; special friends, Annette and Danny Burmeister; other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Maillet.

Winfrey at Kemper Center. He attended Chicago, Ill. schools and was a graduate Currie High School. As a young man, he came to Kenosha and then attended Carthage College. He played baseball, basketball, and football while in school and was an All-American with the Carthage Red Men Starting Running Back.

In 1992, he was the MVP of the Carthage squad. He won many awards for his athletic talents throughout his football career. He was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church, where he sang with the Voices of Second Baptist. At his time of death, he was employed with Full Spectrum Lending in Brookfield. He had previously been employed with Household International Finance Company and Gateway Chevrolet Oldsmobile Auto Dealership in Chicago, Ill.

He was also employed with the Urban League of Kenosha and Racine and the Lincoln Center, where he worked as a Counselor. Survivors include his parents; his wife, Sierra L. WinfreyHarper of Kenosha; two sons, Christopher Lynn Harper II and Brendan Jawaun Harper at home; and his daughter, Brooklynn Skye Harper at home; two sisters, Rhonda Coleman of Racine and Kimberly Coleman of Austell, and his paternal grandmother, Oletha Harper of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather. Gary S. Field, 52, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born in Racine on June 8, 1952, to Morris and Rose (nee: Frederick) Field. He had been a resident of Racine all of his life.

On October 6, 1973, he was united in marriage to Julie Psiones. Gary graduated from Case High School in 1970, University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1974, and Ferris State College in 1976. Gary had been a Pharmacist for 28 years, working most of this time for Walgreens. Gary enjoyed his job and was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was always willing to answer questions and give information with a friendly attitude.

He knew his customers by name, as well as what was going on in their lives. Gary was always willing to help, whether at work or outside of work. He is survived by his wife, Julie; two sons, Ben and his Kelly, and Brian; mother, Rose Field; father-in-law, John Psiones; three sisters, Jeanne (Joe) Konrad of Illinois, Susan Field of California, and Jenny (Todd) Anderson of Racine; sister-in-law, Nancy Field of Arizona; brother-in-law and sister-inlaw, James (Mona) Psiones of Kentucky; and nieces and nephews, Nic Field, Megan Konrad, Nick, Dan, and Paul Psiones, and Pat and Rachel Anderson. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Morris Field; mother-in-law, Shirley Psiones; brother, Glen Field; and by a sister, Judith Field.

Funeral services will be held at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 1925 Summit Avenue, on Friday; July 2, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Mary Janz. Burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the Hanson Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.

HANSON FUNERAL HOME 3014 Northwestern Avenue 632-4479 Marie Anna Schranz BURLINGTON Marie Anna Schranz, 92, died Monday, June 20, 2004, at Mount Carmel Medical Center. She was born in the Town of Burlington on December 5, 1911, to the late Joseph and Mary (nee: Wiemelt) Sobbe.

She married Arthur J. Schranz on April 18, 1936, at St. Charles Church in Burlington. Following marriage, they lived in the Burlington area. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1986.

She attended High Street Grade School in Wheatland Township and graduated from St. Joseph Grade School in Lyons. At age 16, she began to work at the Burlington Blanket Factory, sewing horse collars by machine. As a young lady, she also worked at the Mathews Poultry Farm in Burlington. In later years, she worked at Trim Mold Products and in the kitchen of Burlington Memorial Hospital.

After her retirement, she was a volunteer for many years at the St. Vincent DePaul Store in Burlington. Marie was a member of St. Charles Church, an active member of the St. Ann's Society of the church, and a past member of Burlington Senior Citizens.

She was a Weaver and for over 50 years, she used her loom to weave hundreds of durable rag rugs for families in Burlington and surrounding areas. Survivors include daughters, Joann (Robert) Hewitt, Delores (Robert) Spitzer, and Linda Recknagel of Burlington; 14 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; sisters-in-law, Matilda Prott, Irene Schranz, and Lucille Schranz; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Rose Schultz, Helen Rittman, Alice Cook, Catherine Thate, and Frances Sobbe; brother, Charles 'Mike' Sobbe; and sons-in-law, Dean Recknagel and Richard Wilfert. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 11 a.m.
