Funeral services for Abby will be held at Grace Church, 3626 Highway 31, on Friday, March 19, 2004, at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Worsham officiating.

Private family interment will take place. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of service. He later moved to Racine. He worked in Racine as an Electrician for nearly 40 years. Upon retirement, Sammie enjoyed the life of leisure for many years. He was a wonderful gardener, raising beautiful flowers of various kinds and the most appealing green vegetables. He was also an avid mechanic, enjoying automotive repair and working with his tools.

He leaves to cherish his most cheerful memory, two step-sons, Willie Dean (Diane) Jeter and Henry (Francesca) Jeter; a stepdaughter, Icey (James) Bowie; a sister-in-law, Ella (Joseph) Vassor; many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; long-time companion, Catherine Jeter; a step-son Jessie Jeter; and two brothers, Bailey and Johnny Parker Jr. A Homegoing Celebration will be held in the Strouf-Kniewel Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 12 noon with Bishop Ellis Murchison officiating. WI 53403 Charles F. Kammien SAN BERNARDINO, CALIF. Charles F. Kammien died on Sunday, March 7, 2004, after battling several illnesses. He was born in 1929 in Racine to Elmer and Ruth Kammien.

He moved to California in 1963 with his family. He was a Welding Inspector for over 30 years and was a member of Local 12. He is survived by his son, Charles F. Kammien and daughter, Kathryn KammienSmith, both living in California. He is also survived by his sister, June Penzkowski; and brother, Russell Kammien, both of Racine; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and four grandchildren that will miss him dearly.

Gray, 66, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center after a long, heroic, and dignified battle with diabetes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2004. at 11 a.m. at Greater Baptist Church, 929 State Street, with Rev.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, making afghans, and in her younger days, ice skating. Her greatest love was for her family. Surviving are her husband, Wayne; her children, Kenneth (Penny) Tyykila, Susan (Steven) Vargas, all of Racine, Jeffrey Tyykila of Tampa, and Lori (David) Salas of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Sue Tyykila of Tomahawk; 13 grandchildren; 13 aunt, Lottie Mains of Superior. great-grandchildren; and her Her son, Edward Tyykila, preceded Mrs. Larson in death.

Brehm FRANKSVILLE Kerry R. Brehm, 51, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at Zablocki Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee. Born on May 11, 1952, in Racine, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Janet (nee: Larson) Brehm. He was educated in the schools of Racine. He was in the United States as Army 101st Airborne Division and served two tours of duty in Vietnam from 1970 until 1972.

He was employed by Nyholms Popcorn in Franksville. Surviving are three sons, Bryan and Andy of Sturtevant and Jason of Colorado; and one daughter, Alyssa Brehm. He is further survived by two brothers, Mark (Karen) of Racine and Lloyd of Franksville; and one sister, Linda (Fred) Frick of Racine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kathy, Bob, Rose, Jenny, Sharon, Moe, Sandy, Lonnie, Fred, Mary, Kevin, and Jack. A Committal service for Mr.

on May 8, 1922, she was the daughter of Paul and Mary (nee: Boyagic) Zivalich. She moved to Kenosha as a young lady. She was united in marriage to Dragan 'George' Pantovich in Milwaukee on June 22, 1952. She attended public schools in Chicago, Ill. and Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.

She was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church and a former Girl Scout Troop Leader. A Homemaker, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and embroidery. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Tina M. (Donald) Peters of Kenosha and Barbara Mathson of Whitehall; two brothers, Ronald (Janet) Zamsky and Steve (Blanche) Zamsky, both of Carriere, three grandsons, Robert and Michael Peters and Michael Mathson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; her mother and step-father, Mary and Alfred Zamsky; and a niece, Joan Zamsky. The Funeral service for Anne H. Pantovich will be conducted at Bruch Funeral Home in Kenosha on Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 10:30 with Fr. Dragan Nitrovic officiating. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.

Carroll Sr. RACINE Charles B. Carroll 79, died Friday evening, March 12, 2004, in Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Medical Center in Milwaukee after a long illness.

He was born July 26, 1924, in Tower Hill, the son of Charles and Roxanna Carroll. On July 6, 1946, he was united in marriage to Gladys Peterson in Racine. Charles was employed with Wisco Battery and later was the Manager of Myer's Lakeview Service. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Church of God in Racine. He also was a member of the VFW Post 1391, the DAV Chapter 9, where he also served as Chaplain, and the Trench Rats.

He enjoyed fishing and dancing. Survivors include his wife, Gladys; seven children, Jenny (Gary) George, Penny (Kenny) Tyykila, Renae (Steven) Zaehler, Wendy (Rich) Sczulcewski, all of Racine, Charles (Reida) Carroll Jr. of Anderson, Kenneth Carroll, and Lenny Carroll, both of Racine. He is further survived by 17 grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren, a brother, three sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services will be in the Strouf-Kniewel Funeral Home on Friday March 19, 2004, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ethan Larson officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m.
