I was born Feb. 24,1976. FRONTIER Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stiekes (Lorraine Raymond.) of Joliet, 111, announce the birth of twin sons, Kevin who weighed five pounds, 12 ounces at birth, and Kenneth Lewis who weighed six pounds, one ounce.

Robert and Cathy Soper of 128 Congress Morenci, announce the birth of a daughter, Tammy Lyn, bom Feb. 20in Bixby Hospital in Adrian. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Woodby of Morenci.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Soper of 347 W. Hallett Hillsdale. Tom Dove said that the only opposition that the Rural Bible Mission had was from the state board.

Short-Term Rre Contract Signed PIONEER Pioneer Fire Department will respond to calls in Bridgewater Township until July 1 under a short term contract. The agreement calls for the township to pay $400 per fire for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour.

Four calls requiring one-half hour or less the rate -will be $250. A new contract will have to negotiated for the agreement to continue after Julv 1. according to Bruce Kidston, Pioneer mayor. Renewal of the service came after the village cut off March 1 for lack of contract. The new agreement was signed by Ralph C.

Clifford Allen of North Adams will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on March 9. Clifford Allen and Violet Lamb were married March 9, 1916 in North Adams. He is a retired salesman. GLENN WILLIAM COOPER Glenn William Cooper, 78, of LaFeria, Texas, died Thursday in the St.

Lukes Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born in Hillsdale on Dec. 27, 1897 to William and Ettie (Horst) Cooper. Mr. Cooper spent most of his younger years in Hillsdale.

He also lived in Kalamazoo where he worked at Upjohn Pharmaceutical. He retired from there in 1962. He married Evelyn Riley in 1971. She survives. He also moved to Texas in 1971.

TTie graveside service will be held at the Bankers Cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. William Noblitt officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Diedrich Funeral Home in Quincy.
