Case High School: Julie Pe-derson. Tammy Holladay and Jason Meissner. The program combines introductory music scholarship with performance. Participants in both the choral and orchestral components of the program receive intensive instruction in style, technique, theory and performance.

Waterford cheerleaders earn award The Waterford Union High School cheerleaders recently returned from a National Cheerleaders Association summer camp workshop where they received top recognition as the best Junior Varsity squad at the camp. The workshop was held at Phelps, Wis. and attracted more than 200 cheerleaders from surrounding states.

The National Cheerleaders Association is sponsoring the "Best Junior Varsity" squad award at each of more than 315 NCA workshops held across the United States. The Waterford Junior Varsity cheerleaders were selected for the award on the basis of their cheerleading technique. unity, iriendliness, cooperation, leadership and sportsmanship.
