Passed away at her home. on Friday, July 4, 1980. Mrs. Clope was born in Racine on January 27, 1911 and had been lifetime resident. On April 28, 1839, she was married to Spencer Clope.

She was member of First United Methodist Church, the A.A.U.W.. the Woman's Club, and Chapter AR of the PEO Sisterbood. Surviving are her husband, Spencer; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Rita Clope of Peoria, two daughters and one sonin-law, Sara Clope of Phil adelphia and Susan and Al len Hillman, Jr. of Williamsport, four grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law Clarence W. and Lucille Johnson of Windsor, other reiatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, the Rev, Wallace Spielman officiating. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery. Friends may call THIS (Sunday) evening at the HANSON FUNERAL HOME, 3014 Northwestern Ave. from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mary's Hospital. Mr. Eifler was born in Racine on August 29, 1921 and bad been a lifetime resident. He was Industrial Relations Manager for Mercury Marine Co. in Cedarburg, Wis.

and a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Elaine; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas (Nancy) Eifler of Racine and John Eifler of Chicago; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen (Peter) Miller of Wausau, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Clyde (Ruth) Back and Marie (Gerry) Kanetzke of Racine. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, the Rev. Linda Budzien officiating.

on August 24, 1902 and bad been a Racine resident for the past 40 years. She was a member of St. Edward's Church and the Altar Sodality. Surviving are her husband, Nicholos; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ronald Hanson; one son, Harold; five grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Albert (Marion) Viertel of Berlin, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at 9:30 a.m.

ARLENE G. (NEE: PUCKETT) Morton Avenue Age 77. Passed away on Friday, July 4, 1980 at High Ridge Health Care Center. She was born in Virginia. on April 27, 1903 and had lived in Racine for the past 60 years.

In Racine on September 29, 1962 she was married to Carl Hansen, who survives her, along with four sisters, Mrs. Edna Surendonk of Racine, Mrs. lone Hurley of California, Mrs. Alice Kronick of Racine and Mrs. Faye Jacko of Elkborn, one brother, Lee Puckett of Arizona; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In Racine on August 27, 1932 she was married to Ewald Hennig. She was partner in Hennig Tool Machine and SecretaryTreasurer of Rite Engineering since 1940. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Methodist Church, an active member of the Susies Organization of the Church, member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Racine Yacht Club and an active bowler in the Racine area. Surviving are ber husband, Edwald; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.

Richard (Arlene) Hennig and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. (Lorna) Hennig of Racine; three daughters and one son-inlaw, Mr and Mrs. Leo (Luanne) Perfetto and Ms.

Hollis Hennig of Racine and Ms. Susan Hennig of Seattle; seven grandchildren, Cindy, Richard, Katbleen, Ronde, Gina, Wendy and Peter; two brothers and one sister-inlaw. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore (Camilla) Thielen of Waunakee, Wis.

and Mr. Norbert Thielen of Racine; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Luedtke of Racine and Mr. and Mrs.

Luke's Memorial Hospital. Surviving are two sons and one daughter-inlaw, Alfred R. (Verdamae) Niess of Florida and Arnold H. Niess of Racine; two daughters and one sonin-law, Edna A. Niess and Esther (Carl) Wulff of Racine; one sister-in-law, Mrs.

Olga Mashewski of Berlin, Germany; four grandchildren, Mrs. Robert (Roberta) Ainsworth, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Goetz, Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Christianson and Mrs. David (Susan) McCord; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Niess on September 11, 1950. Private Funeral Services will be held at the HANSON FUNERAL HOME, 3014 Northwestern Ave. The Rev. Reinhart Pope will 'officiate.

Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. NEWMAN, WALTER 400 0 Brown's Court, Lake Mills, Wisconsin (Formerly of Racine) Age 84. Passed away on July 4, 1980 at the Willowbrook Nursing Home, Lake Mills. He was born in Racine on November 13, 1885 to Hans P. and Hannah (Hansen) Newman He was married to Leila Mills, who preceded him in death in 1943.

On December 8, 1952 be was married to Meta Scheel Bruhn of Lake Mills. Mr. Newman was a barber by trade, retiring several years ago. He had been a resident of Lake Mills for three years, moving there from Waterford. Prior to that, he had been a resident of Racine, where be had been a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Newman was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Watertown. Surviving are his wife, Meta; one daughter, Charles (Virginia) Freudenthal of Sturtevant; a step-son, Eugene Bruhn of Watertown; a step-daughter, Richard (Beverly) Statz of Whiteball, seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Claussen Funeral Home, Lake Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 7.

Interment with Graveside Services will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8. Friends may call at the CLAUSSEN FUNERAL HOME, 312 Lake Lake Mills on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services. NOVAK, AGNES (NEE: PETERKA) 3804 Five Mile Road Age 89.

Passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, June 28, 1980. Mrs. Novak was born in Racine on October 2, 1890 and had been a lifetime resident. She was a member of the Caledonia Reading Circle, Tabor Turner Girls and the Westfield Mothers' Club.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and. Mrs. Vincent (Juanda) Novak and Mr. and Mrs.

James (Shirley). Novak; daughter, Mrs. Arthur J. (Mary) Svoboda, all of Racine; ten grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent in 1958 and by four sisters and brothers, Mary Kover, Charles Peter Joseph Peterka and Libbie Novak.

Funeral Services will be beid on Wednesday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Strouf-Sheffield Puneral Home. The Rev. Mark Sabin will officiate. Interment will be at the Bobemian National Cemetery.
