0 0 00 Obituaries and funeral GLITTENBERG, MILTON 'C. (Formerly of 720 N. 3rd Milwaukee) Passed away Friday, February 6, 1981, at the VA Hospital, Wood, Wisconsin, shanghai, Chinas of 52 years. He was born on February 29, 1928. Mr.

Glittenberg served with the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper from September 1946 until March 1948. He was a member of the Racine Dairy Statement Barbershop Chorus for 17 years and Manager for many of those years. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. C.

J. Glittenberg of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; two sisters and brothers Ruth and William Starr of Minnesota and Carol and David Primuth of LeMesa, California; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenyon and Betty Glittenberg of Racine; nieces and nephews. Mr. Glittenberg was 1932 and preceded his in father, death Rev. by C.

a J. sister, Glittenberg Lois Joy in 1976. A Memorial Service was held at the VA Hospital Chapel on Saturday, February 7. The Rev. William Starr officiated.

A tribute in song was given to their fellow member by the Racine Dairy Statesmen. Memorials to the Institute of Logopedics have been suggested by the family, these may be sent in care of C. Kenyon Glittenberg, 2347 Thor Avenue, Racine. HARRIS, MRS. SERVELLA (NEE: RUSSELL) 953 LaSalle Street Age 59.

Passed away Saturday, February 7, 1981, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Marion, Alabama on November 5, 1921 and had been a resident of Racine for over 30 years. In Alabama she was united in marriage to Joseph Harris. Mrs.

Harris a member of Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; three sons: and two daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Lynn) Harris and Clarence M.

Harris of Racine and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester (Letha) Harris of San Jose, five daughters and one son-in-law, Mrs. Lynn White, Mrs. Rena DeLacy, Miss Arzola Harris, Judy Harris and Mr.

and Mrs. Edward (Betty) Archie, all of Racine; 10 grandchildren including Randol. DeLacy, whom she raised; mother, Russell Holt, Alabama; grandmother, Mrs. Alice Belcher of Bessemer, Alabama; six sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mrs. Mattie Lee Osburn and Mrs.

Viola Perry of Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Allie Mae Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Edmond (Ina Ray) Munerlyn of Mobile, Alabama, Mr. and Mrs.

Willie (Cora) Lee of Holt, Alabama and Mrs. and Mrs. Willie (Thelma) Thomas of Andalusia, Alabama; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Henry Russell and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny (Earline) Russell of Holt, Alabama and Mr.

and Mrs. Brady (Zimmie) Russell of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by two sons. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Mt.

Eagle Baptist Church, 929 State St. The Rev. Charles E. Thornhill will officiate. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery.

PETERSON, GARY LEE 11301 Six Mile Road Franksville, Wisconsin Age 27. Passed away Saturday, February 7, 1981, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born in Racine on July 11, 1953 and had been a lifelong area resident. Mr.

Peterson was employed at Westview Nursing Home for two years. He was a member of North Cape Lutheran Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert W.

(Marilyn) Peterson of Franksville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert W. (Sheila) Peterson Jr. of Franksville and Mr.

Larry W. Peterson of Hales Corners, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Drescher of Franksville; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ida Peterson of Racine; nephews, Steven and Adam Peterson; a niece, Kimberly Peterson; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 1:30 p.m.

SMITH, THOMAS W. 1604 Park Age 80. Avenue, away Saturday, February 7, 1981, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. He was born in Racine on February 15, 1900 and had been a lifelong resident.

On July 27, 1935 -in St. Joseph's Church he was united in marriage to the former Dorothy Salbreiter. Mr. Smith was a Supervisor for Case Co. for 38 years, last working in.

1965. He was a member of Holy Name. Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus No. 697, Men's Retirees Golf Club and the JI Case 20 Year Club. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Dr.

Thomas J. Smith of Greenbrae, Marin County, Calif. and Paul C. Smith at home; sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Jerome (Colleen) Goodman of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Mrs.

Joseph (Alice) Smith of Racine; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jo Mikulecky. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, at 10:30 a.m. in the Acklam Funeral Home and at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Name Church.

The Rev. Edward A. Vogel and Rev. Leon Schneider will officiate. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Ave.

WEBER, MRS. JOSEPH (NEE: JOSEPHINE O. PACKEL) (Formerly of 11110 County Line Rd.) St. Monica's Age 95. Passed away Saturday, February 7, 1981, at St.

Frances Home, Fond du Lac, Wis. She was born in Waterloo, Wis. on April 28, 1885 and had been a resident of Racine for 80 years. In September of 1903 she was united in marriage to Joseph Weber, who preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs.

Weber was a charter member of St. Sebastian's Church and the Altar Society. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Massey of Fond du Lac, one son, Roy Weber of Willows, five grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, at 10:15 a.m.

at the Maresh-Meredith Funeral Home and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian's Church, Sturtevant. The Rev. Cornelius Liss O.F.M.
