The committee, an autonomous group within the Madison Chamber of Commerce voted last month to purchase a $2,000 scale model of the proposed system, to use for demonstration purposes. Committee member David Mollenhoff said federal funding to help finance the project might be available in conjunction with the American Bicentennial celebration in 1976.
