it CUSHMAN, MRS. ANN L. Formerly of 3201 North Main St. Passed away Jan. 14 in the Hanson Convalescent Home.

Mrs. Cushman was born in Sheboygan County and came to Racine in 1914. She was a member of Immanuel Episcopal Church, St. Mary's, Guild of Immanuel Episcopal Church, Daughters of American Revolution and Racine Woman's Club. Mrs.

Cushman had been active in church work. She was the widow of Charles Cushman Sr. Surviving are three sons. Robert of Des Plaines, Stephen of Racine and Charles of Pacific Pallisades, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10 a.

m. in Immanuel Episcopal Church, Requiem Mass by Rev. Harold Baker. Interment will i be in Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, Wis. Friends are 1 asked to please omit flowers.

GERBER, LEON LOUIS RI. 2, Box 82, Racine JOURNAL TIMES Tuesday, January 19, OBITUARY AND FUNERAL NOTICES Age 79. Passed away Monday Jan. 18 in St. Luke's Hospital.

Mr. Gerber was born April 24, 1875 in Honey Creek, Wis. He lived in Racine County all his life. He was married to the former Regina Zielinski. Mr.

Gerber was a farmer for many years and he was employed at the Walker, Mfg. retiring in was a Lutheran by faith. Surviving are his wife, Regina Rose; seven sons, George of Roselle, Clinton of Westminster, Fred, Glen Robert, Calvin and Lee all of Racine; one daughter, Valerie of Racine; two brothers, Bernard of Lake Villa, Royal of California; two sisters, Cora Bibler of Michigan, Lenora Grebby of Beloit, 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday 2 p. m.

in Hanson's Funeral Home, Rev. T. S. Hanson officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park.

HUGHES, DAVID 1105 Layard Ave. Age 77. Passed away Jan. 19 in St. Mary's Hospital.

Mr. Hughes was born Dec. 14, 1876 in Wales. He was a member of the Royal Arcanum and the 20- Year Club of the J. I.

Case Co. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Brunnelson, of Racine; two brothers, Cad Hughes and Hugh Hughes both of New York State; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday 2 p. m.

19. Mr. Jenkins was born April 12, 1872 in West Virginia. He had lived in Racine since 1917, coming here from Butler, Mo. He was a stationary engineer and retired nine years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Cribb, Hannibal, Miss Frances Jenkins of Racine: one son, Walter of Los Angeles, four grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Christian Science funeral services will be held Thursday 2. p. m.

Passed away January 18 in the Berlin Wisconsin Hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Moorman was born September 23, 1880 in Racine and had lived here until three years ago when she moved to Wautoma. On May 21, 1902 in Racine she was married to Fred Moorman. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Racine for many years.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Mehren, pioneer residents of Racine. Surviving are her Fred; one son, Fred Saukville, Wisconsin; three daughters, Mrs. Andrew (VioJet) Fuller, Racine, Mrs. liam (Daisy) Hess, 1 Port Washington, Wisconsin, Mrs. Keith (Carol) Ocain, Racine; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Mehren, one sister, Mrs.

Charles W. Dixon, both of Burlington but formerly of Racine; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, January 21, 2 p. in the Greenwood Funeral Home, Rev. Irving C.

SLAVIK, MRS. KATHERINE Schiller St. Age 78. Passed away Jan. 19 in St.

Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Slavik was born Nov. 25, 1876 in Czechoslovakia and lived in Kenosha from 1909 until a year and a half ago when she moved to Racine. Surviving are two sons, John of Kenosha and Samuel of Racine with whom she had made her home for the last year and a half; one sister.
