(AP) Michael and Rita Flynn, accused of selling one of their three children for $26,000, have lost custody of all three. Judge Angelo Pistilli ruled Monday in Circuit Court on a request by the Illinois Department of Family Services, which had placed the children in a foster home pending outcome of the custody hearing. The Flynns allegedly sold their 12- year-old daughter, Rita Jackie, to Harold Miller, 37, a graduate student at the University of Illinois-Chicago. During the child custody defense attorneys presented a federal gift tax return showing that Miller gave the money to the Flynns "in appreciation for allowing him to marry their daughter," and not as a purchase price.

The Flynns, of Bolingbrook, and Miller, of Oak Park, are scheduled for arraignment Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to participate in child abandonment. through the years for the Senior Choir and has missed only two Christmas Masses in 40 years. Phone 233-6161 'Friendly Town' Program Offered In Forreston FORIIESTON The community of Forreston will once again welcome children from the inner-city this summer through the "Friendly Town" program. "Friendly Town" provides inner-city children with an opportunity to live for two weeks with host families outside the city. Sponsored by Chicago's North Side Church of the Good News and Christopher House, the program last year enabled 75 children to visit families in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin. The purpose of the program is "to enrich appreciation for diversity within the human family. Through sharing a living experience in a home setting, guest children and host families encounter different racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds." Children 6 through 11 years of age participate in the program.

Three two- week periods are offered during July and August. Host families provide transportation from the Church of the Good News to their homes and accident insurance is provided for each child. A host family may have one Or two children and should have children of the same age bracket in their home. Persons may call Mr. and Mrs.
