Prevatt Funeral Home (813) 988-7371. PENDERGRASS, Hardin T. passed away March 16, 2003. Buddy was born twice. He was born first into this world on August 10,1947 in Chattanooga, Tenn.

and re-born into the Kingdom of God and rededicated his life to the Lord during the Summer of "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven." Matthew Since his early childhood God had blessed Buddy with the gift of music, but he struggled much of his life to serve the Lord with His gifts. Buddy made several efforts in bands like White Witch to make statements about the battle of Good versus Evil, but Buddy found no true success until he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Since then Buddy has been confessing the name of Jesus before men through his music and engineering the music of others to the Glory of God. For all his life, Buddy had an infectious passion for life, a passion that was vibrantly communicated in the music of the Tropics and still touches the lives of fans throughout the world. In recent days, Buddy's passion had led him to ultimate satisfaction in Jesus in bringing Him glory.

This is no more evident than in the lives of his family who have blossomed in the shadow of his spiritual leadership. As his family and friends, we are convinced that Buddy expects his wife, Debbie, his two sons, Clayton and Ted, his mother, Peggy, his father, Hardin, his sisters Vicki and Paula, his myriad of family and friends and fans and colleagues and coworkers will join him in his passion to confess the name of Jesus Christ until we all meet again together in Glory. Final arrangements are being made through Anderson McQueen Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Chapel, 9015 US Hwy.

Sen. Nelson Accuses NASA Of Arrogance WEST PALM BEACH U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson said arrogance and a lack of communication among NASA officials contributed to the disintegration of the space shuttle Columbia Feb. 1.

The former astronaut, who flew on Columbia in 1986, said Monday that the same problems befell the Challenger before it exploded in 1986. "It's a very unforgiving environment," Nelson told the Forum Club civic association. "You don't want any mistakes, and the mistakes caught us." Nelson said he wants to know whether NASA could have changed how Columbia re-entered the atmosphere to minimize stress on the shuttle's left wing when there were indications its thermal tiles had been damaged. He sent a letter Friday to the Columbia Accident Investigation Board asking when Mission Control realized the seriousness of Columbia's problems during re-entry. NASA did not return a call Monday seeking comment.
