A notive of Waukesha, WI, Mr. Blaisdell had lived in Tampa until 1984 before moving to Clearwa ter. He was an executive for IBM and was a member of Feather Sound Community Church. He was a 1st Lt. in the U.S.

Army, serving during World War Il. He was a member of the Lions Club and a Volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Born February 14, 1909 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of John H. Miller and Mary Jahnke Miller. Ira was a New Business Development Engineer 37 years for the Closure Plastics Division of Owens Illinois, retiring in 1970. An avid golfer, Ira was a caddie at Ottawa park in the 1920's and was a member of both Highland Meadows and Spytan Dyval Golf Clubs. He was also a 50 year member of Fort Industry Lodge F.

A.M., and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo, and Egypt Temple AAONMS in Tampa. Surviving are. his wife, La Dell of Waterville, OH; sons, John L. and Nancy Miller of Toledo, OH and William A. and Sue Miller of Homosassa; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

His sister, Irma Charvat preceded him in death. Services will be private and there will be no visitation. The family suggests that tributes take the form of contributions to the Browning Masonic Community. Colonel Sierra served 31 years in the US Army Medical Corps, having been Deputy Director of Personnel in the office of the Surgeon General prior to retirement. He subsequently was associated with Northrop Gruman Data Systems with global responsibilities for recruitment, development, and training of healthcare professionals. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Quinn, a lifelong of Tampa, was the great granddaugh: ter of Florida pioneer Captain William Brinton Hooker. A graduate of Hillsborough High School, 'Hooks' was a member of the Florida AllState Basketball Team and attended college locally. After serving as Tampa's Supervisor of Public Recreation for many years, she opened the first nursery school in the City of Tampa in 1928. Mrs.

Quinn was lovingly and tirelessly devoted to teaching South Tampa's children for 60 years at her school, Play Haven. She was a member of local and national early childhood associations and served on the board of The Lighthouse for the Blind. She was dedicated to mainstreaming sightless children into her preschool program, and for many years her summer program was set up solely for these children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Norman Quinn; brother Jimmy Steele; sister, Ella Rose Groves; and granddaughter, Deena Rae Sanders. Survivors include her loving daughter, Jeanne Sanders, of Tampa; grandchildren, Charles K.

Schumann and wife, Sandra, of Anchorage, AK, Darryl Lee Sanders and wife Michelle, of Knoxville, TN and Betsy Sanders Wenzel and husband Brian, of Tampa.
