In spite of these drawbacks, the Georgia boys played a gritty game with the Clemson Tigers, coached as they have been by Helsman, and the score they did last year, when the score was 36 to 0.

Clemsons plays through tackle and ends were marvelous, aad the Georgia boys could not stop them. The Georgia team failed to make any progress around Clemson ends, and the only gains the red and Mack made were through center. Frequently and throughout the game the Georgia boys made advances and again held back the heavy rushes of the opposing team in great shape. Captain Ketron. of Georgia, played a star game at tackle, and when he went at the other side there was generally a hole made In the ranks.

Moore, fullback for Georgia, played an exceptionally fine game and made most of the gains for Georgia. Woodruff, at quarter for Georgia, was quick and did some of the best tackling ever seen on the campus. In the last half of the game he was laid out by a blow received in the stomach and had to be carried from the field. He was not hurt beyond being disabled for several minutes. For Clemson, Maxwell, at quarter, Han vey, at full and Sitton, on one of the ends, did the star playing, although it may be said that all the Clemson players did well.

These three men did some fine skirting of the Georgia ends and several long runs were marked up to ehelrcredlt. The only weak point In the team was their fumbling of the ball.
