The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Attorney Kenneth Miller of Sterling, wore a gown fashioned of Aloncon lace, styled with a round neckline, basque bodice and long sleeves with points over the hands, HER BOUFFANT SKIRT extended in a cathedral train. Her fingertip veil of net was held in, place by an embroidered coronet and tiara of seed pearls.

Pearl necklace, gift of the bridegroom, was her only ornament, and she carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white roses with white streamers. Mrs. Hudson, maron of honor, was gowned in blue and carried a bouquet of asters tied with blue streamer. Joyce Ellison, cousin of the bride, and Ruby Shepherd were bridesmaids. Miss Ellison wore a floor-length gown of yellow and carried a bouquet of asters tied with yellow streamers.

Miss Shepherd wore a pink floor-length gown, and her flowers were asters tied with pink streamers. All the attendants wore flowers in their hair. Mrs. Miller, the bride's mother, wore navy blue sheer and a white rose corsage. Mrs.

Ellis wore a gray sheer dress and pink rose corsage. STANLEY ELLIS served his brother as best man, and Melvin and Gordon Ellis, brothers of the bridegroom, served as ushers. After the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors for 170 guests from Erie, Chicago, Galesburg, Dixon, Morris, Sterling, Vaupel, Mrs. Robert Welty, Mrs, John Bennett, cousin of the bride and Mrs. Kenneth Rogers, cousin of the bridegroom.

Serving in the Annawan Marvin J. Powell, medical student at Harvard university, Boston, the last three years, arrived home Friday night and will visit his parenets, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Powell, and family. Marvin has taken a pre-medical course the last two years and will attend a medical convention on cancer research in St.

Louis. He served 4 years as first pharmacist's1 mate in the navy. He will return to Boston September 8. Mr. and Mrs.

Steve Peterson and family of Racine, came Friday for a visit over Labor day with Mrs. Peterson's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Lester Nelson. Robert and Suzanne Nelson who had been visiting in the Peterson home, returned to their home here. Mr.

and Mrs. LP. Stewart and children and J.F. Stewart left Saturday for Washington, where they will visit Mrs. Nannie Cre-cglious.

Lynn Vandemark left Friday for Appleton, to attend the wedding of Robert Frailing, his buddy in the service. Mrs. Lowell Mapes and daughter, Barbara Ann, who has been in St. Francis hospital, Kewanee, were able to be brought home Thursday, Mr, and Mrs. Louis Sakes of M-i-nonk is visiting in.

the home of her mother, Mrs. Henry Wolf, and in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Mapes at Sheffield. Mr.

and Mrs. Fred Johnson Jr. will give a dance in the P.L. Wilson hall Wednesday evening. DeVrieze's band will furnish music.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pont and family and Mrs. Emma Whetstone spent Friday in Sterling. Mr.

and Mrs. Marvin DeDecker, Louise Egert and Leonard Anderson spent the weekend In Blue The Rev. Wayne Leighty of the Methodist church in Sycamore and the Rev. Mr. Blumberg of the Rock Falls church read the double ring service.

The church was decorated with palms, baskets of gladioli and candelabra. The bride approached the altar down the white-carpeted aisle on the arm of her uncle, Raymond Mathis, of South Bend, Ind. Mrs. Bertha of Sterling played organ music preceding the ceremony and Mrs. Edgar Wolfe of Rock Falls sang.

Wears White Satin. The bride wore a white satin gown with a sweetheart neckline edged with beads, leg-o-mutton sleeves coming to points over the wrists, full skirt with a beaded peplum. Her long veil was caught together with a beaded tiara. She wore a single strand of pearls, gift from the bridegroom, and carried a bridal bouquet of red roses centered with a white orchid. maid of honor and wore a green chiffon dress fashioned with sweetheart neckline, full skirt, puffed sleeves. She wore a large green picture hat with an open crown. Her shower bouquet was of white gladioli tied with yellow ribbon. Marjorie Lewis, another sister of the bride, of Rock Falls, Jean Sis-son of Rock Falls and Marjorie Johnson of Sterling were the bridesmaids and had long dresses of blue, pink and yellow chiffon, respectively. The attendants wore single strands of pearls, white mitts and carried shower bouguets of small mums colored to match their dresses.

Marilyn Mathis, cousin of the bride, of New Carlysle, wore a white floor-length dress with orchid ribbons. Doris Linton of Sterling, dressed in a floor-length peach dress, and Marjorie Jurkens of Rock Falls, In a floor-length aqua dress, took part in the wedding ceremony lighting the candles. Brother Is Best Man. The bridegroom's attendants were his brother, clarence Toppert, of Prophetstown as best man and Merlin Hannabarger, Clifford Presnell and Charles Hodge, all of Prophetstown, friends. Ushers were Robert Smith of Prophetstown, Robert Woodring of Berwyn, the bride's nephew; Em-mett Warner of Chicago, cousin of the bridegroom; and Arlyn Toppert kitchen were Mrs.

James Ellison, Mrs. Melvin Joslin, Mrs. Oscar Ol son and Mrs. Harry Wood. Mrs.

George Pelletler was in charge of the bride's book and Mrs Charles Brown was In charge of the gifts. Both wore corsages of pink gladioli. After the reception the newly of Prophetstown, another coysin of the bridegroom. A reception was held following the ceremony in the' church parlors which were decorated in rainbow colors with baskets of gladioli. The serving table was centered with a 5-tier cake topped with the miniature couple on a large mirror and surrounded with flowers.

There were white candles in crystal holders at each end of the table! Mrs. Francis Hanson of Sterling, a cousin of the bride, was in charge of the bride's book. Josephine Mann, the bride's cousin, of Morrison was in charge of gifts. Waitresses were friends, Betty Rae John and Betty Lou Olson of Sterling and Mary Jane Firoini of Rock Falls. Each wore a white organdy gift of the bride.

Mrs. Guy Goodman, the bride's aunt, of Oak Park served the cake, Mrs. John Woodring, sister of the bride, of Berwyn and Mrs. Clarence Toppert of Prophetstown and Mrs. Leo Royer, aunt of the bride, of Sterling poured.

Furnish Music. Nuptial music was played by Leo Eckert of Sterling during the reception and selections sung by Mrs. Edgar Wolfe. Mrs. Toppert was graduated from Rock Falls high school in 1944 and has since been employed in the timekeeping department of the Northwestern Steel and Wire Co.

in Rock Falls. She will continue her work. Mr. Toppert was graduated from Prophetstown schools in 1942 and is associated wih his brother in painting. The couple will live with the bride's mother at 808 West Second street, Rock Falls.

They left for a two weeks trip through northern states. The bride wore a black fall dress with black accessories and an orchid corsage. weds left for a short wedding trip. Mrs. Ellis chose a going-away frock of forest green and black acces sories.

They will be at home in an apartment with Mrs. Bertha Miller after September 7. Morrison Students -Enroll Tomorrow Morrison With the high "school teaching staff completed, registration will take place at the high school tomorrow morning. Those enrolling as freshmen In the high school will register at 8:20 and sophomores, juniors and seniors will enroll at 9 ajn. According to E.S.

superintendent of schools, there ar still vacancies in the fifth and cUth grades. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ellis were J. lews ui rauenis graduated from Erie high school.

Mr. Ellis served 14 months in the armed forces overseas and will attend Augustana college this fall. Mrs. Ellis Is employed as bookkeeper in the Erie State bank and will resume her duties September 8. Cambridge Irvin J.

and Mrs. Maurice DeSutter, Woodhull, became the bride of James P. Bugos, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bugos, Alpha, this morning in, the St.

John's Catholic church here. The Rev. Walter Buche read the double ring ceremony. The altar was decorated with palms and gladioli. Florence Welch of Woodhull played the organ and Jack Bugos, brother of the bridegroom, sang.

Maurice DeSutter Jr. and Edward Grymonprez, brother and cousin of the bride, served as acolytes. THE BRIDE, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white slipper satin. The form-fitting gown extending Into a train with lace inserts was fashioned with a round neckline and lace yok.e with tiny covered buttons down the back. The long sleeves extended to points over the hands.

Her full-length veil fell from a halo cap trimmed in seed pearls and orange blossoms. Her only jewelry was a gold locket worn by her mother 32 sears ago at her wedding. She carried a shower bouquet of white gladioli. ELAINE STAES of East Moline, maid of honor, wore a pastel blue gown of silk marquisette and lace with a matching Juliet cap. She carried a colonial bouquet showers of peach gladioli.

Angeline DeSutter and Patricia Bugos, sisters of the bride and bridegroom, respectively, were bridesmaids. They wore identical gowns of pink marquisette with matching Juliet caps. They carried colonial bouquets of 'gladioli. The flower girls, Nancy Kay DeSutter and Betty Jean DeBuysere, nieces of the bride, were dressed in floor-length gowns of blue taffeta. They carried tiny white baskets of rose petals and wore flowers In their hair.

The ringbeajrer, Lyle Nelson, nephew of the bride, was dressed in white and carried the rings on a white satin pillow. Joseph DeSutter, brother of the bride, served as best man. Ushers were Robert Nelson of Matherville, cousin of the bridegroom, and Francis DeSutter, brother of the bride. FOLLOWING the ceremony a weddimr breakfast was served to the bridal party in the home of the bride's parents. A dinner was served at 1 o'clock in the Masonic hall in Alnha to 60.

In the afternoon and evening a recet)tion will be held in the home of the bride's parents for 150 relatives and friends of the couple. Jean and Elizabeth Grvmonprez. Mrs. Marlln Jones of Viola and Mrs. Amle Saelens of Orion will be waitresses at the reception.

The counle will leave on a 2-week wedding trin to Texas and Colorado Sprinps, after which they will reside on a farm two and a half miles east of Osco. Woodhull Funeral services for John Enbloom, who died Tuesday in Peoria, were held Friday afternoon in Bethany Lutheran church with the Rev.

O.K. Bosse officiating. Mrs. Bosse sang with Mrs. Logan Stiers at the organ.

Pallbearers were F.O. Gustafson, John V. and Ed Tapper, Edward Lundgrcn, Ernest Olson and C.T. Brown. Burial was in the Wood-hull cemetery.

John Enbloom, was born May 2, 1857 in Molia, Sweden and he came to this country in 1879 and located at Andover where he resided a few years, then came to Woodhull and resided on a farm south of Woodhull. He was married to Matilda Swenson in 1889 and she died in 1932. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran church at Woodhull. There are no relatives except nieces and nephews. JOHNSON FUNERAL.

Prophetstown Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Johnson, who died Wednesday, afternoon at her home, were held Saturday afternoon the Helm funeral home, the Rev. Fred Graham of Lyndon Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the Leon cemetery. Mrs.

Burnie Peile sang. Pallbearers were Kenneth Stewart, Ralph Sibley, Cecil Olinger, Ralph Johnson, Jay Dorathy and Anton Ross. Mrs. Minnie Olinger. Mrs.

Aaron Hill and Mrs. Anton Ross assisted with the flowers. great-grandson, David Gustafson's, second birthday. David Is the sort of Mr. and Mrs.

James Gustafson of Cambridge. Ten members of the family were present. Family Reunions LANE REUNION. Atkinson The Lane reunion was held at the Geneseo outing club Friday with 85 members present from Kewanee, Davenport, Geneseo and Atkinson. Officers elected are: President, Rollie Farnum; vice president, Howard Ole; secretary-treasurer, Donna Werkheiser.

Oldest member present was Mrs. Annie Ole and the youngest, Beverly Werkheiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Werkheiser. Next year's reunion place will be decided by the committee.
