She married Earl Herbert in 1920 in Rock Island.

He died in 1968. She graduated from Augustana College, Rock Island. She had taught in Tiskilwa and had worked for the former Mc-Cabe's Department Store, Rock Island. She also had worked 10 years at Rock Island Public Library. She was a member of American Legion Post 200 Auxiliary, where she had been a former president; charter member of the Firefighters Auxiliary, Rock Island; former member of Rock Island Salon No.

137, 40 and and American Legion Post 200, where she had been president of the last woman's club. She enjoyed baking, sewing and at St Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island. He was born Nov. 28, 1900, in Sommerville, the son of Adam J. and Rosina Raible Winter.

He married Marguerite Viager June 4, 1924, in Moline. She died July 19, 1988. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1974. He was employed for 26 years by Birtman Electric Rock Island; and for eight years at Hydraxtor Moline, where he retired in 1966 as machine shop foreman. Survivors include a daughter, Louise M.

She was a member of the Salvation Army, Rock Island; Rock Island Moose Club; and Rock Island Turners. The former Marie Christensen was born May 29, 1923, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Lud-vig Wilhelm and Lydia Anabell Don-ahe Christensen. She worked as a secretary in the advertising department of the former Bear Manufacturing Rock Island, retiring in 1975 after 27 years. She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church, Rock Island. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, cross-stitch and painting.

The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 17, 1973. She was employed by the East Moline Public Schools as a cook in various elementary school cafeterias for 10 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Patience Circle of the church. The former Bess Conrad was born May 4, 1893, in Iowa County, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Emma Slaymaker Conrad. She married Fred Langlas in 1914 in Iowa County. He died in 1914. She married Herman Sierk in 1923 in Kosz-ta, Iowa. He died in 1975.

Mrs. Sierk graduated from St Luke's Hospital School of Nursing, Davenport, in 1923, and was a registered nurse. She and her husband farmed in Benton and Iowa Counties in Iowa, until moving to Moline in the early 1940s. He died in 1962. She married Frederick S. Kell April 5, 1969, in Milan. She taught school for nine years in Bussy, Iowa, from 1932 to 1941. She worked as a secretary and purchasing agent for the former Bear Manufacturing Rock Island, retiring in 1976 after 24 years.

She previously had worked as a secretary for International Harvester and Dr. Eugene Moses, Rock Island. She was a financial secretary for 10 years at the church and played piano during Sunday school; and she was a secretary for the church bowling league for ten years. She graduated from Iowa State Teacher's College, Cedar Falls. Survivors include the widower, a daughter, Joanne Larson, Rock Island; a stepdaughter, Dr.

Suzanne Bhatt, Hampton, N.J.; a stepson, Donald KelL Tallahassee, Robert Ford Robert G. Ford, 64, of 738 River Drive, Bettendorf, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Davenport. Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association. Mr. Maitland died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, at United Medical Center, Moline. He was born Oct.

17, 1913, in Sycamore, 111., the son of Arthur and Mabel Oursler Maitland. He married Ruth Moehling Feb. 4, 1948, in Geneva, 111. He owned the Unicorn Gift Shop on 23rd Avenue in Moline for four years, retiring in 1974. He previously owned Culligan Water Conditioning in Moline for 12 years.

He was past president of the former Mill Creek Country Club; a member of the present Pinnacle Country Club; and a former member of the Moline Kiwanis Club and the East End Businessmens Association. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Bridges died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 1991, at Mercy Hospital, Davenport. He was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Gas-tonia, N.C., the son of Ezra and Ada Page Bridges.
