Station labels drive a success Laffoon has lived in Rocky Mount and has been associated with the Rocky Mount Flute Choir since 1984. She is a 25-year veteran teacher of the flute. She currently teaches elementary music to grades one through six at Faith Christian School, as well as teaching private lessons. Laffoon and her husband, Jim, a pastor, are moving to Los Angeles, with their four children. Jim Laffoon has accepted a position with Morningstar Ministries International, whose corporate headquarters are located in Los Angeles.

Yeager, 16-year-old violinist, has been playing since the age of 5. At 11, he won the Indianapolis Symphony's Young Artist competition.
