L. Stover of the Heath Springs section, each planted about a quarter of an acre of land in sugar cane this year. Their yield in molasses was as follows: Mr. Duncan, 100 gallons; L. R.

usiier, popular young merchant and farmer of Dwiglit, in this county, was happily married at Rock Hill at 10:30 a. last Wodnesday to Miss Annie Ogburn, daughter of the lato Baecom Ogburn. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Watson of Rock Hill.

The happy bride and groom came on to Lancaster on the midday train and went on to Dwigbt where a big reception was given them that afternoon. E. CI Death ol'Mrn Sims Mrs. Agues Sims, wife of Mr. E. J.

Sims of the Heath Springs section, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1903, ufter a pootraclod illness. She was about 05 years of age and leaves her husband and several children surviving her. Her remains were interred Tuesday at Fork Hill church of which she was a consistent member, after funeral services conducted by lior pastor, Kov. R.
