Hel-bert. school Instructor of the Antituberculosis League, who is organizing Little Mothers' Cluhs In the schools, under the auspices' of the Board of Health, yesterday organized a cluh of 12o members at the Washburn School. Miss Helbert borrowed eight-nionths-old Ruth MilHgan, of Eighth and Race streets, and with her. showed the little mothers how a baby should be bathed, dressed and cared for. The infant was undressed and bathed before the class.

The children were intensely interested, and it is said the baby was even more concerned. She splashed and kicked water all over Miss Helbert and voiced a protest that convinced the maternity students that caring for babies is not a holiday. Moving pictures of the demonstration, which will be exhibited in a downtown theater, were taken. Clubs were also organized in, the- St. Paul's and First District HOUSING CONFERENCE.

Ort invitation of Director of Pubic Safety Holmesi, the members of the Housing Committee of the Chamber of Commerce will meet at the office of that official in the City Hall, at 2 o'clock thia af-temoon, to discuss the proposition of merging the Housing Department of the city with the Buildrrrg Inspector's office.
