WILLIAM J. OSTcNDORF William J. Ostendorf, 72, 8956 Wallace, Chicago, passed away Jan. 6 at Little Company of Mary hospital. He was born Jan.

5, 1891. He was the husband of the late Marie (nee Schultz), father of Irene Boak and Adele Mad sen. He was the brother of June Rose and Robert Ostendorf. Grandfather of four and great grandfather of nine. Services were held Wednes day at 1:30 p.m.

at Hallman Funeral Home, 2601 Vermont Blue Island. Burial was in Beverly cemetery. MARTHA GRUBA Martha Gruba, (nee Rizeznik), 81, 14444 division Posen, passed away Jan. 3. She was the wife of the late Valentine, mother of Pauline "Warszalek, Anna, Walter and Helen Sendra.

She was grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 13. Funeral services were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Zimny Funeral Home, 14522 S. Western, to St. Stanislaus Church, 144th and McKinley for a ill a.m.

Blue Island for the past 15 years. He was born for the entire family Nov. 22, 1877 in Worth township. He was the husband of the late Edna (nee Hammond) and Alma Anderson (nee Grader). He was the father of Russell Harold R.

and Jack A. Wingate, Lydia E. Exline, Edith M. Gaert- ner and the late Fred. He was the stepfather of George Anderson, Robert Anderson and Ruth Damm.

Mr. Wingate was a 50 year member of Calumet Lodge 716 AF AM, IOOF Odd Fellows Harmonize Lodge No. 2 and the ltchmen union of North Am erica. Rested at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave. until 6 p.m.

Saturday. Burial was in Cedar Lawn cemetery. Council Bluffs, Iowa. SAUNDRA WESELOH Baby Saundra Weseloh passed away Jan. 4, 1963.

She was born Jan. 2, 1963. She was the daughter of Stanley and Erika (nee Dietenhauser) Weseloh. Rev. George Vander Schaaf officiated at the graveside prayer.

As its first program of the New Year, Roosevelt University will present Adele Addison, distinguished American soprano, at Studebaker Theatre Saturday evening. Although Miss Addison has sung frequently as soloist with the Chicago Symphony and Grant Park Orchestra, this Jan uary 12 program will be her first Chicago recital appearance. Miss Addison is truly an Ame rican artist with all of her vo cal training done entirely United States. She is known from coast to coast for her ap pearances with the New York City Opera, major symphony orchestras recitaL- and for her soundtrack performance motion picture "Porgy and Bess."
