Miss, von Hoya's perform aiieeson the piano were pronounced by udges to be the fi rst order. Pro fossor Auton liandled the violin quite creditably tlie two duets, but in last rose of summer solo he made complete failure. Most of the song were ill-chosen and were of such character that none but the best performers in constant practice coul execute with proper effect.

Tber was one song, however, which wa well sung and appreciated, and wtu admirably adapted to the voice of th performer; that was "At five o'cloc in, tbe Morning."
