Music Under The Stars 1953 Edition (Continued from Page 1) OrchMtra The Gene Rousseau Combo was school in 1950. While attending Chicago Music college, for the four year course, Gene kept his combo going as a sideline, lie plans to attend Northwestern University this fall to pursue his studies toward a master of music degree. At present he plays for dances and other community events. He has his own studio in his home at 2229 Market specializing in clarinet and saxophone Instruction. Paul Jankowski, accordionist, has been with Gene since the band was started.

He was graduated from Thornton high school in 1949. Paul graduated from the Chicago Music colleac with the cordion in his home studio at 14335 Sherman st. Paul has been appointed Director of Music at Lansing Junior high school commencing this fall. Other regulars in the band ap pearing are Bob Ciesczynski, on the drums, Ronnie Kloss, trumpet and Al Mistak, base. Mother Singers The Mother Singers chorus is a group of women, member: public school P-TAs.
