Mr. Egan presented a second communication, in which be recommended that tbe contractor be ordered to use sawer brick. Instead of eommon brick. in tbe construction of A bo second story ot the Court House. Tbe sewer brick wo used in the Drat story.

Tbe communication was referred to tbe joint Committee on Public Buildings and Service. Kevtrral bills were read. an referred to the proper committees. The largest account was one amounting to t9.0SO.3O for dieting eounty prisoners from June 1 to July 20. Commissioner Fitsgerald's salary for tho past quarter, amountlnc to B390.
