L. Gotol. A FIRE On the Moudy Farm, South of Cho City, Sunday Morning. The large barn and cow sheds on the dairy farm of Charles Warwick, below Lindtenwald on tho old Moudy farm, wero destroyed by fro betweon the hours of 12 and 1 o'clock noon, Sunday. Mr.

MIRACULOUS "Deadman's crossing," at the intersection of Third and Sycamore streets, came very near socuring a victim shortly before 11 o'clock this morning. About the time mentioned, the belated east bound express train No. 31, due hero at 10:15 o'clock, came thundering down Syenmoro street.

The alarm bella at chin crossing above, were mute and frozon up by the severe cold. Edwin Hues100, a farmer, living near Pleasant Run, reached the crossing about this timo with his team of horses and farm wagon.
