Jilt, programming country music for Siouxland radio stations, Cooper now will be designing the on-air formula, music selection and overall concept for KSUX the only live FM country station in the Siouxland market Copper, who has been in the radio business for 18 years, also will have his own on-air show from 6-10 a in. KSUX will feature the latest country music hits along with "Nashville's Golden Oldies." Other announcers working for KSUX include Dan Lehmann, Jason Lueth and "Cowboy Bob." Division, and Lundeen Coatings Corp. A native of Sergeant Bluff, Semonell attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa State University in Ames, and Fullerton State College in Fullerton, Calif. Templeton began with PTI as a sales associate in 1986, and held various positions since including marketing and data coordinator, and statistical supervisor, before she was named statistical manager in 1989. A native of Onawa, Templeton was business manager at Hutchinson Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Onawa for nearly 14 years before joining PTI.

Carol Hilker has begun new duties as elementary principal for the Emerson-Hubbard Schools system. Hilker of Pender, has taught tion is now on the airwaves in Siouxland. KSUX-FM, located on the radio dial at 105.7, began broadcasting earlier this summer. Owned by Violet Communications, the radio studio is located at 4240 Hickory Lane in Sioux City, just west of the Southern Hills Mall. Company officials have named Debra Smith as sales manager and Ty Cooper as program director.

Smith has been worked in media businesses for five years and has an advertising degree from the Journalism College at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Channel WSC names coordinators nounced by Pioneer TeleTechnologies Inc. officials, headquartered in Sergeant Bluff. Promoted are Mike Thomas, formerly management information systems site manager at PTI's plant in Springfield, to the position of sales operations manager at the same site; Ron Wood, a sales operations specialist for PTI, has been appointed sales operations manager of PTI's center in Greeley, Debbie Semonell has been appointed sales operations manager at PTI's plant in Sergeant Bluff; and tannine Templeton, formerly statistical manager at PTI, has been named manager of statistical analysis.

Thomas came to PTI in 1988 as a sales associate at the Sergeant Bluff plant In October of that year, he joined the MIS department as a computer operator. He transferred to PTI Wichita in April, 1989, and then to PTI Springfield in October that same year. Prior to his association with PTI, Thomas graduated from Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa, with a degree in business management and marketing. He is a native of Sloan. Wood joined PTI as a sales associate in June, 1986, and became manager of Pioneer Mall in Sergeant Bluff in 1988.

In 1989, he transferred to the property development division which included expansions and remodeling projects, until he was promoted to sales operations specialist last April. A native of Sergeant Bluff, Wood graduated from Wayne State College in business ad 7 department. He had worked at KTIV for six years, most recently serving as assistant news directorassignment editor. Before that, her was employed at KWWL-TV in Waterloo, Iowa, for four years. A Vermillion, S.D., native, Beringer earned bachelor of arts and master's degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.

Kennedy is majoring in business with a minor in marketing. She is an administrator of a surgical office. Dvorak, who is employed as a department director at Marian Health Center, is majoring in interdisciplinary studies. Sell is the owner of Sioux Beauty Supp'y, and has been a coordinator since 1982. She is a graduate with a business degree from Wayne State.

6:00 p.m. Sunday Grand opening set for restaurant A ribbon cutting ceremony has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Casa Grande Restaurant and El Cantina lounge, now located on the second floor of the Badgerow Building in downtown Sioux City. Casa Grande is a familiar Siouxland restaurant name and previously was located in North Sioux City. The restaurant will feature Mexican focd fare, but will also include American dishes on the menu.

It will be open for luncheon and evening dining. Owners of Casa Grande are Pat and Everett Provost, and Lou Wil-mont is wner of the El Cantina lounge. Business Vomen stage annual event SOUTH SIOUX CITY The South Sioux City Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold its annual business associate event Monday at the Marina Inn. The event is designed to honor business associates and employees of ABWA members and to provide an opportunity to learn about other fields, industries and positions. Siouxlanders can bring their bid sweaters to any participating merchant and earn a 15 percent discount on one selected purchase for each garment turned in.
