Friday in Graceland Cemetery with the Rev. A.T Washington officiating. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today in Larkin Northside Funeral Home. Mr.

Reyes was born Dec. 2, 1967, in Beaumont, Texas. He came to Sioux City in 1978 and attended North High School. He was employed at Triland Foods Inc. at the time of his death.

Survivors include his father, Robert Reyes Sr. of Beaumont, Texas; two brothers, Christopher of Sergeant Bluff and Francisco Garcia Jr. of Mexico; two sisters, Debra Hernandez of South Sioux City and Laura Ramirez of Sioux City; paternal grandmother, Cora Reyes of Beaumont, Texas, and companion, Cara Luesebrink of Sioux City. Robert Reyes Jr. Melissa Kay Rodeen Melissa Kay Rodeen, 28, of Colorado Springs, and formerly of Sioux City, died Oct.

27, 1989, in Colorado Springs after a long illness. A memorial service was held at First Lutheran Church in Springs. The burial was private. Ms. Rodeen was born Nov.

8, 1960, in Orlando, daughter of Jim and Connie (Cole) Rodeen. She had lived in Sioux City in 1968-1970 attended Sunnyside Elementary School. She graduated from high school in Highland Park, Ill. She attended Pikes Peak Community College and the University of Colorado in Colorado as well as the University of Colorado in Boulder. Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Jeffry T.

of Vail, and AREA OBITUARIES Kenneth N. Ash LYONS, Neb. Kenneth N. Ash, 76, of Lyons died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1989, in a hospital in Omaha.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Methodist. Church of Lyons with the Rev. Bill Martin officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today in Piper Funeral Home in Lyons. Mr. Ash was born Dec.

2, 1912, in Decatur. He attended grade school in Decatur, also rural Schultz and Lyons High School. He married Vera Southwell April 18, 1931, in Dakota City. He farmed for awhile and then worked for Buckley Lumber in Lyons. He worked for a number of years as a butter maker for the Lyons Creamery and later served as manager.

He retired in 1981. Mr. Ash was a member of Masonic Lodge 240 Survivors include his wife; a son, Ken W. and his wife, Donna of Omaha; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandMissouri children; three Valley, brothers, Iowa, Charles Norman of Flint, and Edwin of Ukiah, and one sister, Sally Hendrickson of Lyons. Alice Meendering INWOOD, Iowa Alice Meendering, 87, of Inwood died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1989, in a hospital in Rock Valley. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Christian Reformed Church in Inwood with the Rev. William Moxey officiating.

Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Visitation will be all day Friday with the family present from 7-8 p.m. in Porter Funeral Home at Inwood. Mrs. Meendering, the former Alice Luinstra, was born May 12, 1902, in Hull.

She married Peter Meendering Jan. 12, 1923, in Sioux Center. The couple farmed in the Sioux Center area until moving to the Inwood area in 1940. They retired and moved into Inwood in 1952. Mr.

Meendering died Nov. 7, 1970. She moved to Manor Nursing Home in Rock Valley in 1983. Survivors include two sons, Jake of Inwood and Elmer of Ontario, two daughters, Mrs. Archie (Gertrude) Statema of Everson, and Mrs.

King, 93, of Carlisle, and former Sioux City resident, died Nov. 10, 1989, in Carlisle. Mr. King resided in Sioux City from 1922 until 1958. He was employed by the Cudahy Packing Co.

as a department superintendent until the plant's closing in 1955. He then operated a neighborhood grocery, until he retired to Carlisle in 1958. Following the death of his first wife, Belle he, married Mary Swain Woods, also Sioux City, who resided with him in Carlisle until her death in 1980. Survivors include two sons, Richard V. Survivors include his wife; three stepsons, two stepdaughters; a sister, Mrs. George (Luella) Mattes of Sioux City; five nieces; two nephews and 20 stepnieces and nephews.
