Marie Chamber of Commerce board of directors will be held Tuesday, July 11 at the home of Larry Rushford. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The Rushford home is located at 1005 E. 8th Ave. LSSC Summer Course Offered Introductory courses in transactional analysis will be held July 18 in room 127 of Crawford Hall of Science at Lake Superior State College.

The courses will begin at 9 a.m. with Rev. Graham Barnes of Lynchburg, Va. conducting the session. This program will present basic information about the theory of transactional analysis, one of the newer approaches to behavior explanation.

This is a follow-up of the program which was offered in May. One the evening of July 18, a marathon will be offered at the Student Village on the LSSC campus. This will be limited to ten registrants and will run through the afternoon of July 20. The charge for the TA 101 course is S15 per registrant, with no more than 30 being accepted. Marathon charge is $120, or $180 for a husband and wife.

Six Area Students Set To Graduate From Skill Center MARQUETTE Six students from the tricounty area will be among those graduated from the Northern Michigan University Skill Center at graduation ceremonies July 13. The ceremonies, which will be held in the Brule-Cadillac Rooms of the Don H. Bottum University Center, will commence with a dinner at 6:30 p.m. This marks the seventh graduating class from the Center, bringing to 427 the number of students who have completed one of the various vocational programs offered.

S. Martin Taylor, director of the Michigan Employment Security Commission will be the guest speaker for the graduation. He was appointed director in November, 1971. Area students who will be in the 1972 class include; Mildred Linck, Engadine, nurses aide; Charles Senecal, Grand Marais, radio-TV repairman; Michael Sullivan, Newberry, automobile mechanic; John Bailey, Sault, small gas engine repair: Donald Jackson, Sault, radio-TV repairman and William Sadler, Sault, combination welder. A group of young people known as Teens For Christ Singers will present a concert in the Sault Area High School auditorium Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

program will be open to the public at no charge. The appearance of the youth group which is based in Flint is sponsored here by the Free Methodist Church. The singers travel throughout the year on their own time. They bring their own portable lighting system with them for added effects during their programs. Roger Allen is the director.
