A daughter of Raymond J. and Emma Singer Murray, she was born July 20, 1925, in Blairsville. Mrs. Kovac was a member SS. Simon Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, and CDA Court St.

Theresa No. 562. She was formerly employed by Blairsville Borough as a meter maid. Surviving are a son, John Louisville, one brother and three sisters: -Donald Murray, Mrs. Connie Koski, and Mrs.

Helen Palmer, all of Blairsville; Mrs. Kenneth (Larene) Fulcomer, Ligonier. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Kovac in 1984; a sister, Marie Pamlo. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Thursday in the Richard L.

BRUNO, 70, of 661 Chestnut Indiana, died Wednesday 22,1986, at the Metropolitan General Nashville, while visiting j. in Tennessee. A daughter of Joseph and Pietronella Bruno, she was born-July 5,1916 in Aultman. Miss Bruno was a membr of St. Thomas More Newman Center; Indiana Hospi- VFW Post 1989 Auxiliary, and was lifelong resident of Indiana.

SHe had been a self-employed beauti- cian, had been associated with the office ipf the late Sen. John Saylor for over ten and most recently had been with IUP as a clerk at Zink Hall, retiring in 1983. 1 Surviving are a brother, Anthony P. "Tony," and two sisters: Mrs. Joseph "(Nancy) Maloney and Mrs.

Mary Bruno Recupero, all of Indiana; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her par; and a sister, Carolyn Galzerano. Friends will be received from 2-4 and p.m. Friday in the Frank T. Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana, where the rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m.

Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 1 at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard of Church, with interment to fol- low in the church cemetery. MORRIS "FUZZY" RUMMEL, 74, Barnsboro RD 1, died Wednesday, Oct.

22,1986, in the Indiana Hospital. A son of Simeon and Lettie Patterson Rummel, he was born March 6, 1912 in Garmentown, Cambria County. Mr. Rummeel was a member of UMWA Local 1609, Barnesboro, and prior to retirement was employed by Greenwich Collieries Barnesboro. Surviving are his wife, Alverda Patterson Rummel, whom he married April 16, 1936; eight children: Ernest, Barnesboro RD Mrs.

Albert (Margaret) Mano, Commodore RD Ronald, Mrs. Gary (Shirley) Peel, Mrs. Clarence (Rosina) Keith, all of Cherry Tree RD Mr. James (Marlene) Wetzel, Starford; Randy, Barnesboro RD Gary, Cherry Tree RD 29 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. Also six brothers and sisters: Mrs.

Matthew (Rachel) Clevenger, Cape Coral, Mrs. Mariah Fetterman, Barnesboro RD Simeon, Owego, N.Y.; Mrs. Milton (Violet) Shaffer, Punxsy RD Mrs. Robert (Imogene) Brown, Ft. Myers, Mrs.

Paul (Dorothy) Steele, Sayre. He was preceded in death by four children: Morris Iva Keith, Betty Jean, and Raymond; three sisters and one brother: Mabel Rice, Vernie Lydic, Beryl Cochran, Jack; a half sister, Jane O'Hara; a half brother, Ernest Gibbons. Dayton RD 1, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1986, in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. A son of Samuel Burt and Melda Edna Davis Good, he was born July 3, 1907, in Smicksburg.

Mr. Good was a former member of the Methodist Church of Indiana and attended Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Wayne Township; member Dayton District Volunteer Fire Department; American Legion Dayton Memorial Post 995, and was' a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He had lived in Dayton 16 years and prior to that resided in Pittsburgh where he was of an auto repair business, retiring in 1969. Surviving are his wife, Harriet Rupp Good; two brothers and a sister: Ernest and Stanley, Indiana; Mrs.

Florence James, Conneaut Lake; a stepsister, Mrs. Forrest (Pauline) Wilson, Smicksburg; a stepbrother, Leroy Snyder, Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his par- a brother, Carlton; his stepmother. Myrtle Good. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m.

David Saylor will officiate with interment in the Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Wayne Township. ELEANOR H. THOMAS, 95, formerly, of Mullen Avenue, Homer City, died Tuesday, Oct. 21,1986, in the Indiana Presbyterian Home. A daughter of Charles W.

and Eleanor Sickenberger Tuck, she was born Feb. 12, 1891, in Center Township. Mrs. Thomas had been a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Homer City since 1904 and was a former Sunday School She was a 55 year member of OES Chapter 299 Indiana; member of local, state arTd national Retired Teachers N.E. Historical and Genealogical Society.

Educated in the Homer City school systems, she had attended IUP, Grove City and Penn State University, and taught elementary education in the Homer City schools for 30 years. She is survived by four nephews and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John C. Thomas; three sisters and two brothers: Laura Gagnier, Mabel, Gertrude, Lafayette and Clyde Tuck. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 79 p.m.

Thursday in the Bowser-Askew Funeral Home, Homer City. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the United Presbyterian Church of Homer City, with Rev. Robert D. Argie, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. DAVID HALL BLAIR, age 80, of 143 North Sixth Indiana, died Thursday, Oct. 23,1986, at his home following a long illness. A son of James Sutton and Caroline Hall Blair, he was born June 30, 1906, in Indiana. Mr.

Blair was educated in the Indiana School District and graduated from Kiskiminetas Springs School in 1925 and from Yale University in 1929. He pursued graduate work at both the University of Pittsburgh and the Carnegie Institute 'of Technology. After working for several years in Boston with the Gillette Safety Razor Company, he returned to Indiana where he headed the Emergency Relief Program in Indiana, Armstrong and Jefferson counties. He was one of the founders of Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania and represented that institution for 28 years until his retirement in 1965. He continued his interest in land development until recently.

A life-long member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, he served in a number of capacities. He was also active in the William Penn Council of the Boy Scouts of America, having earned the Silver Beaver award. At the national level, he served as a teacher at the Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico on several occasions. In recent years, Mr. Blair had been active in the Family Motor Coach Association, in both the Penn Coachmen Chapter and nationally as officer and editor.

He was a member and a past president of the Ingleside. Surviving are his wife, Elinor Gordon Blair; two sons, McClellan Gordon, Indiana, and James Sutton II, Walnut Creek, seven grandchildren; one great- grandson; a sister, Mrs. Harold S. (Elizabeth) Hirsch, Portland, Ore. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Caroline, who died in 1946.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Richard D. Adams officiating.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Penn Woods Council, Boy Scouts of America. Jarvik-7 heart installed in man PITTSBURGH (AP) A middle- aged Butler County man was in critical condition today after receiving an artifical heart as a temporary lifesaving device. The middle-aged patient received a Jarvik-7 artificial heart during emergency surgery Wednesday at Presbyterian-University Hospital, said hospital spokesman Tom Chakurda. His condition is considered normal following an implant, Chakurda said.

His name was being withheld at the request of family members. The man is the ninth person at Presbyterian-University to receive a Jarvik-seven.
