Planning Today For Tomorrow The Pre-Need Funeral Trust. That time came against the Baltimore Colts, which was the first game after the strike.

"1 played the entire fourth quarter," he said. "I graded out high. We also won, 37-0. "All our guys worked out during the strike. No one held anything against anyone.

When we got back, we just went back to work. Everyone is playing well." The two-time All-America in college spent two weeks back at Eastern Kentucky University during the strike. He worked out with the Colonels. But as the strike lingered, it forced George to return to New York and go to work. "I worked four weeks in construction, putting in glass windows in big buildings at a very high level," said Floyd.

"It was an experience' Floyd said he was in great health and looking forward to helping his team to the Super Bowl. "I saw Tampa Bay on television when they beat Miami on Monday night football," he said. "I'm very impressed with quarterback Doug Williams, tight end Jim Giles and wide receiver Kevin House. "We have to shut these three down. We feel we have a good shot at going all the way.

We have a playoff berth about wrapped up, but want to finish first, which will help once the playoffs start" Playoffs are nothing new to George Floyd. He helped EKU win the Division 1-AA national championship his sophomore year, the Colonels reached the finals his final two years in college, but had to settle for second each time. Floyd said he has been getting some good natured ribbing from teammates, friends and his sister Diana Butts back home about being seen so often on national television, while on the sidelines the last two weeks. "Everyone said I keep standing behind Coach (Walt) Michaels, because I know the camera focuses on him quite a bit" said Floyd. "That's not true.

Now I have to watch myself so it won't happen Sunday." By WALT RIDDLE Tribune Sports Writer BROOKSVILLE There is nothing special to playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for special teams member George Floyd, who is also a reserve safety for the New York Jets. The local resident, who played his high school football at Hernando, will be in action 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon when the Jets face the Bucs at Shea Stadium in a National Football League game that will be televised in the Tampa Bay area (Channel 13). The Jets are flying high this year. They are 4-1, which is good enough to be tied for first place in the American Conference.

They lead the National Football League in both offense and defense. They are one of few teams who have played excellent ball since the 57-day layoff for the strike. New York is 3-0, including a 28-13 conquest of Detroit on Monday night After starting for four years at Eastern Kentucky University and three in high school, Floyd hasn't found it difficult adjusting to riding the pines. He credits friend Ricky Feacher, also a Hernando graduate, who is a starting wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns. "Ricky told me I would have to be patient, pay my dues on special teams and give it all I have when opportunity comes to play," he said via a phone conversation from his New York apartment Thursday morning.

"This has helped my mental preparation." Now there it a practical and sensible way to provide or tomorrow the pre-need funeral trust. The trust is a way families may plan the funeral the way it should be, without the hassle and worry an expression of love and devotion. You make the decisions on details and cost today, so your family will not hare to be burdened with those decisions later. The pre-need trust plan FREEZES THE COST AT TODAY'S PRICES. There will be NO INCREASE IN COST EVER.

You can pay for your plan in convenient installments, if you wish, WITH NO FINANCE CHARCES. All the money paid is placed in a trust with a prominent Florida bank. If you wish to cancel your plan for any reason, all the money you have paid in will be refunded. -i--ili-Mati iiT lift milium iMMiMmiiiniilsiiii imn Remember, this trust is a regulated and guaranteed plan. Your cost will never rise.

So why not stop by or call us today, it's a good move to insure future security. Floyd says the Jets must shut down the passing of Doug Williams. The Key To Your Security 0 M. B. Youngsters between the ages of 6 and 14 interested in playing basketball need to be at the gym at 9:30. Teams will be selected after the orientation program, according to Larry Phillips and Walt Cermak, who are organizers of the league. Coaches will be on hand to watch the the youngsters go through drills. "We hope to balance out the teams, so it will be not only a learning experience for the youngsters, but also a fun program," said Cermak, who is the girls basketball coach at Hernando. Phillips, varsity boys basketball coach of the Leopards, said the program is needed to help build a strong foundation for the junior high and high school programs.
