The Steele Softball League continues to become more interesting as the Live Powers and Spot Removers tie for first place, each with a percentage of .625. This weekend games will decide the winner of the first half of the split season. Each team has played thirteen games so far.

The V-8's have a .539 percentage and the Cowboys .308. Last year only twelve games were played each half but this year the players decided to play 16 games. Softball has created more interest here than any other sport Batting averages on the four teams are as follows: W. Khourie, L. Turner, L.
