The daughter of Maxim and Anna Peternay, she was born April 24, 1914, in Creekside. She had lived her entire life in the Indiana County area where she was of the Christian faith. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Metro Harvey, who died February 5, 1989; two brothers, Mike and John; and a sister, Sophia Mutchka. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. He is a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a 1994 graduate of the Kiski School, Saltsburg. Alan Rhoades BLAIRSVILLE Air Force Airman 1st Class Alan L. Rhoades, the son of Robert J. and Cindy L. Rhoades, Blairsville R.D 3, has been decorated with the Air Force Achievement Medal.

His wife, April, is the daughter of Larry R. Moore, Derry RD 1, and Mary Jo Passmore, Duncansville. A 1993 graduate of Derry High School, Rhoades is an aerospace ground equipment apprentice at Altus Air Force Base, Altus, Okla. Bridgette Hutton Blairsville, has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo. She is a 1995 graduate of Blairsville Senior High School.

Catherine King CLYMER Army Reserve Specialist Catherine' M. King, the daughter of Shirley A. King, Clymer RD 1, recently completed a threeweek annual training tour in Kaiserslautern, Germany, as a reservist assigned to the 1004th General Supply Greensburg.
