I At a late hour Will Davidson and Karl Mitchell discovered light at the front door of the G. Drown 'A Son store. Fred Black was guard at a back door of the hank when a solution of the matter occurred to hiin. It was only a lump left burning in the hank vault. With such an array of soldiery in our little city her people may slumber in peace knowing full well that they will be protected.

Kemp, two well known Rarry county attorneys, have formed a new partnership and established an olli'e in a suite of rooms in the Du 'is and Cluippell building at Monett. The new linn will do a general practice but will make damage cases a specialty. The linn name is Si.er Kemp. The senior member of the firm, Mr. Sixer, is successful practiciouer not only in this county but in the courts throughout Southwest Missouri where he has practiced for several years, giving a large part of his time to damage cases, especially personal injury suits against railroad companies.

The junior member of the tirin, Mr. Kemp, is a young lawyer of ability and uutiriiiir industry and lias rapidly worked his way to a poitioil of high standing at the bar in Southwest Missouri. Her remains were laid to rest in the purdy cemetery Sunday, August Jl, amid a host of sorrowing relatives and friends, ho had gathered to pay the last tribute of respect to one whose memory is cherished by all.
