He left Exeter ami opened tip a store at Mineral Springs. Later lie went to Jenkins where he became hard pressed financially and sold liis store and purchased the Jenkins Holler Miils. It is reported by reliable parties that Ford lias left thecoiinlry. His family lives at Jenkins, lie is a brother of Mrs. Geo.

Mrs. Anna Slater, daughter of Henry Kerrick of this city, returned to her homo at Paris, Texas, last week after a visit with her father and other relatives and friends. Miss Vona Talbert of Omaha, accompanied her.
