Create Appetite, Give Strength home for wholesome reading. What a tremendous asset to the church life such an influence would be in the homes. I should like to say a word now about the work on this great field. Lewistown is a town of some 500 inhabitants. As a town it furnishes all the problems of a railroad town of this size, industrially, politically, socially, and religiously.

It is no exception to the rule. The church here has some 250 in its membership. It is, a live, wideawake church. It has a well graded Sunday school, a good B. Y.

It also has a membership of about 250. Lately the church has installed an electric light plant. It has a splendid plant for Sunday school work, and is doing fine work in the Sundav srlmnl T.atp. Just get a box of Kintho Beauty Cream at any History in Will 'Mayfield Colleg The work in the church starts off in good shape. I have never met a people that seem more willing to take hold and do things. I have only been here three weeks, but the church has done more than I could have asked. Seven have united with the church and more will come in with the church and more will come in with us soon. The Will Mayfield College has a splendid enrollment, considering the interruption caused by the war activities and the flu epidemic.

Prof. Hendricks is' an ideal; school man and as fine a Christian man as I have ever come in contact with. He is a man of executive ability and strong personality. The school is well organized and doing thorough work. The Ministerial Class is one that Missouri Baptistsi might well.

They are well, organized and have adopted by-laws and constitution which binds them together in brotherly love and Christian fel-. lowship and the promotion of the school and Ministerial Class. They are starting an endowment fund for the aid of ministerial students. That constitution fund is fixed so it can not be spent or lost to the Baptist educational cause.

Dr. W. H. Setzer and his good church at Caruthersville starts the endowment off with $100.00 and besides that they are to pay the expenses of two ministerial students through Will Mayfield College next year. This has given great courage drug.

store and tp'ply it night and morning as directed, and your freckles should begin to disappear in a day or two. It is well to get a cake of Kintho Soap also, as this helps to keep "the freckles away, once Kintho has removed ly Providence launched- the budget I tho ret Srrn nf system ot financing the church. Lewistown The writer of this let-, ter is pastor of the church at Lewis-town Mo, a half-time church, and of Providence, also a half-time church. Both of these fields are in Wyaconda Association. For some time it has been clear that one of the greatest needs in these churches is the denominational paper in the homes. It has been in the pastor's mind for some time to get the church to appoint a denominational literature committee and to let it stand as, a standing committee in each church. When the Word and Way announced a drive in April for the paper the thought of the committee was translated into action and the churches both have now such a committee in process of creation.

We hope to be able to send from our fields many new names to the jailing list of your paper. In these days of propaganda there is need above measure for our denominational o-, gans in every home. The denominational paper 1. Furnishes, propaganda denominational propaganda. 2.
