Ainslie and Miss Carrie Ella Smart were married Christmas evening at the home of the bride's Fremont, Washington. The groom is a well known Point Arena boy, who recently embarked as part owner of a newspaper in Fremont, and no doubt feeling the responsibility wisely selected a smart companion to share with him the joys and trials of this world.

For sale by J. R. Mathews, Druggist. Point Arena Life Saving Station. The.Examiner last Sunday had the following to say about the newly completed Life Saving Station at Point in this county: The Life Saving Station which has been in cour.se of construction for the past six months is now completed.

Captain Monger, Superintendent of construction for the Pacific Coast Life Saving Service, arrived last week and accepted the work from the contractor, H. G. Rickey. This station, one of the most complete built by the government, consists of a residence for the keeper and crew, two boat houses and a launch- way. The residence is very original in style land was designed especially for this place, being void of any projections or anything to catch the wind.

The building is a frame structure and rests on a foundation of concrete, A cellar was excavated under nearly all the The exterior of the house is finished with shingles.
