Mr. Wolfe, who was born in Oxford, Nebraska, died July 9, after a brief illness. He was a resident of Canyon Country.

Mr. Wolfe was a Navy Veteran Splash Party Planned Youths, ages 12 and under, who enjoy water-related activities are invited to participate in a summer splash party at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Santa Clarita Park, 27285 Seco Canyon Road. Water balloons, water relays and other water games are planned. Yosemite Trip In The Works The Santa Clarita Valley Group of the Sierra Club will cosponsor a trip to Yosemite Valley on August 1-3. The trip, which is open to both members and non-members, will leave Friday evening, August 1. Saturday and Sunday will be spent sightseeing with day hikes. The cost of $115 will include bus transportation, two nights' lodging, brunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel and a Basque dinner in Bakersfield.
