Heck with being short in his accounts In the sum of 13,055, was arrested to-day on a charge of embezzlement on an affidavit filed before Squire George Tehan. The affidavit was filed by Charles Ballard, County Prosecutor, and charges Mr. Fischer with embezzling $02 00. The affidavit sets forth that on November 26, 1912, Fischer embezzled the S52 8C after receiving the money as a fine assessed against Anton Preller in the Municipal Court for the illegal sale of intoxicating liquor. Fischer pleaded not guilty and bis preliminary hearing was set for next Saturday.

He was released on $1,000 bond, furnished by J. K. Williams, Charles J. Bowlus, former Mayor, and John M. Cole.
