The tl go res show an increased daily at-teudauce of 3 1 1. The report says that this increase in daily attendance together with th fact that there wat an overcrowded ootid it lou in one or two ot tho schools, and also that several departments were on hall-day sessiou, in the Winslow school, ac count for the seemingly large increase in the teacniug force. While the school buildings are being pnt in good condition there are several bnildings in which the ventilation is exceedingly poor and steps should be taken to improve them.
