Reunion of many singers who have sung In tha choir of St. Luke's Episcopal church for tha past half century was held Friday night In tha pariah halU At the. Invitation of Earl Gere, general chairman, many former choir members came from neighboring cltlea to renew their friend-ihlpa tad diacuae tha whan they war a part of tha it. Luke's singing organisation. Several present suns In thp choir more than 40 years ago.

Henry Rogers, well known banker, who haa sung In tha choir for tha past 64 years continuously, was a guest of honor. Dr. John O. Meachem. oldest member of the choir, could not attend the party.

Tha doctor and Mr. Rogera were presented with autographed memorial books, containing the signatures of all who attended tha party. During the evening the party was divided into two groups, and each side presented an Impromptu minstrel show. The program brought out wealth of talent, as solos, Quartet and chorus numbers were given. Later in the evening refreshments were served.

Crowd Attends Winslow School Carnival Party Funds Raised to Pay for New Radio Friday. Eight hundred parents, friends and other patrons attended the car nival held Friday night In Winslow school by pupils from the grades. The affair, which was in charge of the faculty, was staged to raise funds to pay for the new radio which haa been purchased for the school. The affair was so financial, ly- successful that tha object will bo realised, according to those in charge. Various shews, attractions and exhibits were held in each room of tha school.

Work of many of tha students, which waa on display, waa praised by tha many visitors. Cakes, candles, refreshments and novelties were sold. Mothers of the children contributed to the sale. The programs were arranged so that the visitors were constantly en tertalned, and hundreds paid admts aions to various carnival shows and exhlbtta A one-act play, given by an adult group, waa presented to a large crowd.
