Eliia T. Stewart, known to the world as "Mother" Stewart, the noted temperance advocate and writer, died last night at the home of her friend. Mrs. Farnsworth, at Hlcksvlllc, Mrs. Stewart waa B2 years of age.

She was bom' at Plketon. Ohio. April 25, 181. Her maiden name was Ellaa Danlela In 1848 abe became the wife of Hiram Stewart. Five children were born to this union, but all died In Infancy.

The body of Mrs. Stew art will arrive here to-morrow morning, and burial will take place at Ferncllff Sunday afternoon.
