Gratton Motor Service, Valparaiso's first motor freight line. The purchase marked the first step to be taken by Landgrebe Motor Transport to bring to Valparaiso and this area a freight service designed to give adequate and efficient service for a growing community. THE YEAR 1908 A familiar sight on the streets of Valparaiso fifty-five years ago was this grocery wagon (pictured at right) which was owned by Ed.

TODAY TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 1063 Today, Landgrebe Motor Transport maintains a Valparaiso Terminal for receiving incoming and out-going cargo. Shown at the right are 7 of the 25 trucks and Semi's and 9 of the 32 persons required to handle the hundreds of shipments to and from this community each day.
