CLOVER, LEAF Friends and loved onea wert shocked and grieved last Friday when a message reached here of the death of Mrs. Weir Freeman at her home in Ft. Morgan, nnd it was even more tragic, knowing that her two sons, Maynard and Glenn, had lost then- nice with death and did not get there in time.

The sons left Neosho about 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon and arrived at Ft. Morgan early Friday morning, but the mother had passed away at 9 o'clock Thursday night. Funeral services were held Monday at Eton, and the body laid to rest there. Besides the two sons here, Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, an- cther son, Clifford Freeman of Ft, Morgan; one Mm Earnest Williams of Sedgwick, and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Freeman had lived near Sweetwater for some time and had returned to Colorado last October. Miss Rosemary Karnes left Tuesday for Lamar, to spend the remainder of the summer with a schoolgirl chum and her husband. Mr.

and Mrs, Loren Simmons, Grant Hansen and Mrs. Coy Karnes visited relatives in Grandview and Eureka Springs, from Wednesday until Saturday ot last week. Mr. and Mrs. R.

Bowers and daughter, Mrs. Bernice Stockton, returned Saturday from a three weeks tour of Atlantic coast states and report a wonderful trip. Pennell. Mrs. Pennell remained for a longer visit with relatives at Mack's Creek, Climax Springs, Cross Timbers and Preston. Nineteen women and six children attended the Farm Club meeting at the home of Mrs. Vona Thompson on Shoal creek last Thursday.

The Elm Springs W. M. S. will meet, by special invitation, in the Buel home Wednesday afternoon of this week with Mrs. Crossno and daughter, Miss Nina Maye, for the Royal Service work.
