Plante, 7, are survived by their father, Richard P. Plate of Pawtucket, R.I.; a brother, Christopher, and a half-sister, Heidi Lee Hayes of Largo; their paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Plante of Shrewsbury, and their maternal grandmother, Mrs.

Agnes Dziuban of St. Petersburg. Feaster Largo Chapel is in charge. Way Clearwater, died Tuesday (Oct. 1, 1974).

Retired partner and co-founder of the Washington Pattern Washington, N.J., he came here a year ago from Hampton, N.J. Survivors include his wife Eleanor; two sons, Harry A. of Las Vegas, Nev. and William H. Jr.

of Milford, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy M. Davis of Radford, a brother, Harold J. of Belleair Bluffs, and two grandchildren. Evans Funeral Home, Clearwater.

STEFFENS, H. RUDY, 74, of 1476 Young Clearwater, died Monday (Sept. 30, 1974). Retired owner-operator of the Germershausen Welding Shop, Plainfield, N.J., he came here 12 years ago from Watchung, N.J. Charter member of the Faith Presbyterian Church, Dunedin, he was a former mayor and councilman in Watchung.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy a brother, Thomas G. of Barnegat, N.J.; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha L. Hendrickson of Beverly Farm, Mass. Moss Lakeside Chapel, Clearwater.

STOKES, MICHAEL 90, of 1560 Laura Clearwater, died Monday (Sept. 30, 1974). Retired president of Chicago and Western Indiana Railroad and the Belt Railway both of Chicago, he came here five years ago from Chicago. Member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Clearwater.

Survivors include his wife Marie Davies. Moss Lakeside Chapel. VASSALLO, MRS. MARIA, 78, of 13524 91st Ave. Seminole, died Monday (Sept.

30, 1974). A native of Italy, she came here six months ago from New York City. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs.

Carmella Terzo, Seminole; a sister, Mrs. Grace Parisi, New York and two grandchildren. Grant Funeral Home, Seminole. Indian Rocks Beach man is killed by car St. Petersburg Times Staff Writer TAMPA Roger Sesti, 42, of 822 Gulf Indian Rocks Beach, was killed Monday night while trying to repair his car on I-75 in Tampa, just south of Floribraska Avenue.

Police said Sesti and a relative were trying to fix the automobile, which was parked in the emergency lane of the highway, when a vehicle driven by John Kury of Tampa struck Sesti. Sesti was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he died in the emergency room. Police said charges are pending against Kury. Ways to conserve energy to be topic Pinellas Times Correspondent CLEARWATER "Do It Yourself 101 Ways to Conserve Energy and Home Resources" will be the topic of a program at 10 a.m. Friday at the Clearwater YWCA, 222.

Lincoln Ave. Nancy B. Whigham, extension home economics agent, will present the program. Suggestions and ideas will be given on conserving resources in the home by recycling and re-using many items usually thrown away. Miss Whigham says, "Learn to recycle, cut down on pollution and save money at one time." Those planning to attend should call the YWCA to register.
