Mrs. Miriam C. Burd BERKELEY, Jan. 4 Memorial services will be held Wed nesday at 11 a.m. for Mrs.

Miriam Caldwell BurdV73, who died in Bombay, India, Dec. 14 while tourin the Far East. Mrs. Burd's traveling companion, Miss Caroline Coleman, 70, of 1144 Euclid died the day after. A native of Long Beach, Mrs.

Burd was the widow ef Piercs) Burd, a San Francisco busi nessman, and made her horn at 1030 Keith Ave. She was a member of the 1910 graduating class of tha University of California and was also a member of th Sierra Club of San Francisco, the Hillside Club of Berkeley and Alpha XI Delta Sorority. She is survived by two sons, Peter Burd, of Saratoga, and William Burd, of Phoenix- two brothers, Dr. Hil dreth Caldwell, of Pasaderu, and Lewis Caldwell, of Los Angeles, and seven grandchildren. Services will be held at 'the McNary Funeral Chapel, University Ave.

Mrs. Elizabeth Teague BERKELEY, Jan. 4 Funer al services will be held tomorrow for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Teague, 84, member of a pio neer Virginia City family, who died Saturday at her home, 2203 McKinley St. A 70-year resident here, she was the former Elizabeth Ramsey, daughter of one of the silver city's early mining engineers.

In addition to her husband, Philip J. Teague, she is survived by her daughters, Mrs-Margaret Herbertson of Berkeley, Mrs. Sadie Smyrl of Albany, Mrs. Madelyn Wright of El Cerrito, Mrs. Cora Patterson of Pleasanton, and two sons, Reave E.

Teague of Wal nut Creek' and Philip E. Teague of Honolulu. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft, IMPORTED cars for rash or eon slim- mailt. Dick Dy.

Associate Warden Louis Nelson said Walter Baskerville, 40, serving a one-to-10-year term for assault from San Francisco, was attacked last night just before dinner by Nathaniel Venerable, 36, serving a one-year-to-life term for a Los Angeles robbery.

Nelson said theiight was provoked by an argument the two men had over seats at the prisoners' New Year's Day variety show. Baskerville had seven stitches taken in his head as the result of the hammer attack. Venerable will appear Tuesday before the Prison Disciplinary Committee. During the New Year's show, another fight broke but between, two other inmates, one of whom was hospitalized. Earlier thf day, six; Death Row convicts, including Caryl Chessman, engaged in a clash which was broken up by guards.
