BEN ASBEL BROOKSVILLE Ben Asbel, 95, a resident of rural Brooksville, died in the Cambridge Nursing Home in New Port Richey Tuesday. He was a native of Alabama and had lived in this area for many years. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Asbel, two sons, Herman and Charley; a step son, Casier Goodman; a brother, George Asbel all of Fivay Junction, Brooksville; and a host of grandchildren and great grand children.

MICHAEL J. LAKELAND Michael J. Wasekanes, 75, 716 W. Patterson, died early yesterday in Bay Pines VA Hospital. A native of Pennsylvania, he lived here 11 years and lived previously in Philadelphia.

He was a retired chief petty officer in the Navy for 30 years, and was a veteran World War a member American Legion; and the masons. He is survive by his widow, Mrs. Helen Wasekanes and a brother, Stanley Wasekanes, Philadelphia. and of the American Business Women's Association, and is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Henderson Atlanta and Brooskville, where services will be held Friday, WILLIAM SIDNEY KING BROOKSVILLE William Sidney King, 69, died at his residence on Park Blvd.

WALTER E. BEARDSLEY LAKELAND Walter E. Beardsley, 75, 152 Holi day Mobile Homes Park, died Tuesday evening in Lakeland General Hospital. A native of Hartford, he lived here since 1956 and came from Lorain, Ohio. He was a retired maintenance man with Packard Motor was a mem ber of the Catholic church.

died Tuesday afternoon in Lakeland General Hospital. Upon its launching in thick fog atop a three-stage Delta Booster rocket, the satellite streaked toward a high, looping Polar orbit. Its orbital path' took it as far as 133,194 miles from earth and as close as 150 miles at an inclination of 67 degrees. It will circle the earth once every 106 hours, or about four days. "The orbit is pretty close to nominal. We're happy with it," said a NASA spokesman.

CLOUD (Special) Ground for construction of a new gymnasium at the St Cloud Junior High School has been broken with the $128,000 job to be completed in Sep. tember 1967. Plans call for the construction of two gyms, one for the Osceola High School in Kis-simmee and the one in St. Cloud. The Missimmee gym is under construction started a month ago.
