Ia reply to resohrtion of the Westport Bond of Guardians, Mr. O'Brien has addressed a letter to the board, in whkh he says I re enter theEriglkhParlia ment with the atracst repognaaco and with ao Bore personal satisfaction than I should re enter sa Engl gaoL Bout con tmsencies sre at tiroes a matter of dis agreeable bot operative national doty. But there were two conditions upon which, sad' upon which alone, I could have consented to accept or retain a seat ia Pariis ment. The first was that Mr. Healy aad his faction should be exxradodfrom the Irish party as the only Deans of enabling pea of honour to remain Etembers of the party, or to turn it to say more useful purpose than the rxatlfl cation of degrading personal animosities the second was that it should to a party in complete aad cordial union with the National Convmtion sad with the Uaited Irish League.

The. ooontry at the general election has alanaed the necessity for both these condi tiocs with a clearness and unanimity never before equalled in Irish affairs. It now only remains for the National GaareatioB to insist, as I am sure it will, ape practical effect being given to the will of the couatry as aranmi from Cork City to North Donegal, sad from North 3itc to ADd Tipperary sad we will have aa Irish psrty was need pay no farther to Mr. Healy, bot will bt free to turn their undivided energies to the work of tht country with the corisdousness that the country wiU appreciate "i eweew them.
