By JERRY WALLACE Tribune Staff Writer A temporars restraining order preventing sale of the sex satire "Candy" in Hillsborough County was dismissed ycjterday after the distributing company pledged it would not distribute any additional copies in the county. The ruling by Circuit Judge John Germany did not take up the question of whether the book is obscene. The temporary restraining order came last month after State Attorney Faul Antinori Jr. filed an injunction suit contending "Candy" is obscene and urged the court to ban the book in Hillsborough County under the state obscenity statute.

When issuing the temporary injunction, Judge Germany said he would rule on whether the book is obscene and should be banned in the county after a final hearing. The state attorney was expected to present evidence at the final hearing to support his contention that the book is obscene. Judge Germany said in the final decree: "That because the defendant, Duval-Bibb a Florida corporation, also known as Hillsboro News has by stipulation agreed it has not ordered any adefition- ANTINORI 'purpose has been achieved' al copies of that certain book entitled authored by Terry Southern and Mason Hoffenberg and it does not anticipate any such reorder in the future and specifically denies that it has any present intention to in the future sell, distribute or deliver It's Just One Happy Furry Group FORT WALTON BEACH (LTD The Bill Lee family has a squirrel which refuses to give up its foster mother. Lee allows that the squirrel must be pretty smart to keep hanging on to the mama cat instead of worrying about acorns and stuff like that, at least until the supply is depleted.
