The priscoen were committed for trial. At Mabtliboxi, Jofijr Bbooki, 43, a plumber, wai charged with being found in the grounds of Annesley lodge, Park road, Regent's park, supposed for the purpose of committing a' felony. He was further charged with assaulting sne police, roiice constablo WUlavm Uoere, 237 stated that he waa on duty in Park road at 1 30 on Tuesday morning, and hearing the noise of footsteps in the enclosed premises of Annealey lodge he called Constable who assisted him in climbing over the wall into the enclosure. After a few minute the witness succeeded in blowing his whistle. Zl, and ILLIAM ALLEX, 22, were indicted for stealing 41b. of tea and other articles, the goods of the Civil Serrice Supply Association (Limited).

Mr. Burnie. with whom was Mr; Besley, prosecuted on behalf of the association. Hutehins was employed as a counterman by the association, and it appeared that he made up a parcel of 41b. of tea and 41b; of coffee, and handed it to who walked away with it without paying, ine jury lound tne prisoner Uuxlty, and Mr.

Mr. Nicholls said that the charges which would be brought against the prisoners were under the Bankruptcy Act. 32 'and 33 Vic. cap. bz.

The prisoners had been arrested at Colombo on their way to Australia, and brought back to this country by order of tbe Colonial Umce.
