Negro A ttacker Knif es Man, ThenRapesShenii Asks Information On Girl on Lonely RoadN ear Tallahassee TALLAHASSEE, Sept. 29 UP) a xsegro surprised a young white couple as they sat in a parked car on an isolated road near Lake Bradford, slashed the man with a knife and raped the woman, Sheriff W. P. Joyce reported today. The attack occurred about 8 o'clock last night. An all-night search failed to flush the rapist and Joyce said today that a $500 reward would be paid for information leading to his arrest and conviction. , The sheriff said the couple had parked on a dead-end dirt road leading off the Lake Bradford Road southeast of Tallahassee. The Negro approached the car and attacked the young man with a knife. He broke free and ran seeking help. The Price Curbs Lifted SEOUL Korea lifted price controls on all commodities ex cept rice, barley and coal briquettes. Negro then raped the girl, Joyce said. Later, she raised an alarm at a house about 300 yards down the road. Her companion, mean time, had reached a service station and called the sheriff's office. The knifing victim was taken to a hospital where it was found he had suffered 19 stab wounds. But all were superficial and he was released after emergency treatment. Young Woman Slain Here Sheriff's deputies yesterday questioned "a close friend" of a man sought in connection with the 13-day-old slaying here of a young expectant mother. Nationwide Pickup Order Meanwhile, a nationwide pickup order for Tampans Car los and Marguerite Camacho bore no results yesterday. Blackburn secured an FBI warrant naming Camacho for unlawful flight to avoid prose cution for the crime of aggravated assault allegedly committed in 1959. Camacho, a 25-year-old labor er, is being sought "for questioning" in connection with the slaying, Blackburn said. Nehru Escapes Explosion NEW DELHI, India, Sept. 29 VP) Street lights suddenly went off and an explosion rang out in a congested quarter of old Delhi tonight just after Prime Minister Nehru motored by, police reported. Five bystanders and a policeman were reported hurt by what police described as a firecracker. A policeman standing nearby said the explosion occurred about a minute after Nehru passed, en route home to adjoining New Delhi from a Gandhi birthday ceremony. Previous reports said the explosion came five minutes after Nehru went by. Higher prices for dairy products, citrus fruits, grains, hogs and tobacco were primarily responsible for the increase. Lower prices were reported for soybeans, some vegetables and poultry. The mid-September farm price level was the highest since last March and nearly 2 per cent above a year earlier. Prices paid by farmers for commodities and services used in production and in family living, Including interests, taxes and farm wage rates, were unchanged from a , month ago.
