Besides Marion, he'll take his seasonal tour to Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia. While most well-known for his tenure as front man for Chicago, Peter Cetera has also enjoyed success as a solo performer. Cetera was born in Chicago.

He began his career early when he was a high school student. While a member of the band called The Exceptions, in late 1967 he was recruited by another aspiring group, then called Chicago Transit Authority. While with that group, later dubbed more simply Chicago, he played bass and frequently offered his unique sound as lead vocal. By the early 1970s, Chicago was among the most popular acts in America, loved for their unique brand of jazz-rock that brought such major hits as "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" and "Saturday in the Park." In 1976 Cetera wrote the soft-rock ballad "If You Leave Me Now," and when it hit number one, most of Chicago's subsequent music Prospect Merchants Association invites the public to celebrate the holidays in Prospect. Although Cetera recorded his self-titled solo debut in 1981, he remained with Chicago full- until 1985.

Once on his own, he hit the top of the charts with Academy Award nominated Karate Kid II theme "The Glory of Love," the first single from his album That same year he teamed up with Amy Grant for a duet, "The Next Time I Fall," gaining another number one on the charts. Cetera followed up with another duet, "After All," this one recorded with Cher. Cetera took a four-year hiatus, after which he issued "World Falling Down," his final release for Warner Bros. "One Clear Voice" followed in 1995. In 1997, Cetera released "You're the Inspiration," a collection of past hits and new material.

Cetera returned to recording in 2001 with "Another Perfect World." In 2005 Cetera returned to the studio to produce a Christmas record from which this tour has generated. According to Rob Theakston, All Music Guide, "You Just Gotta Love Christmas" brings to the table everything you'd expect from a Peter Cetera record: Lush, pleasant arrangements with crisp, warm, polished production and able musicianship."
